It's all showcasing Anton .... poor Anton, made a silly remark and now he's trying to be all funny and full of humour. That sad face he had on him last week, more in the knowledge that it could have been the end of his career, rather than the fact that he made dubious remarks towards Leila for which he was sorry.

I am going off Anton in a big way ..... heaven forbid he manages to get Brucie's job. That may just make me want to switch off.
