The only thing worth watching ITT for tomorrow for me. I'm not a Natalie & Vincent or Phil & Katya fan.

I like both couples.

I get warning twinges, but I do have to be very careful about bending forward/stooping and twisting - it looks like Jade's problem is more at the back. Her posture is very good, so that will help, but as zan says what about doing the Salsa or other Latins?

I agree there aren't any pointless segments like last year.

But I am still concerned about the looming return of Ask Len. I know once I forget about it, him and his purple decked out set will pop up on our screens .

I think Salsa/Samba and the Paso are the ones she should need to be concerned about the most, the Rumba could be choreographed around her back more easily IMO.

What about lifting when it comes to the American Smooth and such, could that be a problem also ?

I still like them all (even Joe and Kristina - well I like Kristina)!

I'm sure once the number of couples drops some stuff with creep back in, but it might be the better bad bits if you know what I mean!

I think it depends what kind of lifts they choreograph in, to be honest. Some are less showy, and these might be better for her back - but not being a dancer I'm not sure which lifts will affect her more.

Another fantastic ITT!

Love the choreography corner.

Confirmed my misgivings on Aliona's choreography, though.

The AS! Ian could do the most beautiful lifts with Jade!

As a serious sports woman she will be used to performing with injuries, so I wonder if she has a really high pain threshold (dangerous as that can be)? Maybe she'll start using pain medication to help. Of all the contestants she will have the best advisers around her with the Olympics looming.

Well it was confirmed a while ago I think it would be returning, and that was definatly the worst of the worst of the worst .

True. Am I getting confused or was there another celeb in the past that had some sort of back trouble that led to problems during lifts in the American Smooth?

Karen was great wasn't she, and nicely rounded off the speculation surounding Aliona's choreography .

I presume they'll be keeping a close eye on her now, as they wouldn't want her to compramise her career for an entertainment show. I wish her the best of look and agree that Ian could do an amazing smooth with her.

His one with Zoe in series 3 was truely breath-taking and I think it's the only Waltz themed AS we've had. Deserved at least 1 10...

Karen Hardy was good in choreography corner.

Sorry to bring this up but ....... wouldn't she have been a great judge to bring in instead of Alesha.

Amazed at how jolly Ola is this year, she obviously gets on very well with Chris, well who couldn't, there's nothing to dislike about him. Although she still flashes some evil looks now and again.

The body language between the couples is very interesting ...... had to laugh yesterday, when Rav was nearly hanging over the arm of the sofa, in order to get a far away from Aliona as possible. Doubtful that she will be back ..... depends too on how she gets on with the pro partner of course. Is that Matthew or Ian?

I agree, I learn more watching one choreography corner than I do from a whole series of listening to the judges. Great stuff.

She's partnered with Matthew I think, but I presume she'll be going the same way as Hayley. She was Matthew's partner last year too wasn't she?

Sure goes through them quickly doesn't he ?

Thanks.

I feel a bit sorry for Matthew, I think she is a bit too frosty to have any sort of chemistry with a dance partner.

See, I get that from Natalie myself but I think that's just my own prejudice coming to the fore!

Yup, same here, I have learnt so much from just a few weeks of the choreography corner this year. So interesting and educational for SCD-fans like me to know the workings (and for some failures) of the pros.

I loved ITT tonight!! I'm so happy that there's been barely any Len (other than that "Len's mad stalker" and "Len's angels" thing with the new girls).

Karen in choreography corner is brilliant, and I'm so looking forward to the shouty salsa man tomorrow!!

He does, now you mention it.

In the first series he danced with Nicole Cutler.

Anyone remember which other pro dance partner's he's been paired with?

That was a great show. There was so much solid information in all of Karen's comments, really helped me understand more about what to look at. I could have very happily listened to her going through all the couples for the whole show.

But I enjoyed the rest of the show we had. Chris and Ola are so lovely - I hope he gets his confidence back. And Jade and Ian great as well, though I felt a bit ill when her back went. They have such potential, I really hope it isn't going to ruin it for them. Lynda isn't among my favourites, just because I find her dancing so awkward, particularly her expressions, but I enjoyed their interview and you can see Darren's doing a great job with teaching her.

Please, we don't need any more of Len.

Karen was brilliant in comparison, old Len is slow, laboured and not very interesting. The worst part of the Saturday show is when Bruce asks Len ......

What are we looking for in a ...... rhumba, waltz etc etc.

If only they'd bring back the red button commentary - Karen'd be great on that. Or Camilla. Or anyone really... I miss the commentary!

one of the pros that only stayed for series 3, and then series 4 was when both him and Nicole took part.

Poor Jade and poor you too, Buddy.

That's an interesting point. They certainly won't want Jade to risk permanent or lasting damage to herself so she will be well supervised.

I loved the choreography corner too. Karen manages to explain her points so simply that even a total non-dancer like me can understand.
