OK a few thoughts on my part:

Boys overall way better than girls

Few exceptions - in particular Kelly a surprise and delight

Poor Jonathan saddled with Macy!

I don't really agree with this. For one thing, the girls' dances had less in the way of 'gimmicks' than the boys. The only couple that went that route were Dmitry and Mya, and even that was still a decent dance (not a proper VW, but not as far off the mark as Len made out). Among the boys, Aaron and Louis were better than I expected, Donnie was exactly as I thought he'd be, and Chuck and Ashley were worse than I thought. Mark is probably going to suffer for Lacey's choreography. I can't even remember the others now!

I do agree that Kelly was surprisingly good. I also liked Natalie and Alec, Joanna and Derek were pretty good, but Kathy and Tony weren't that great. I think Melissa will be better if she can get over her nerves. Macy was just scary.

I'm so confused because we are so behind, though! I have to avoid half the internet to avoid spoilers, so I can't keep up with who's dancing what. Surely Watch are going to get into the same week as abc at some point, now Strictly is not on Fridays?
