I found the Stars of Dance segment of the Lion King on DWTS quite spectacular when I watched it last night on watch. Anyone else agree?

Absolutely. This would have been the Broadway version presumably; I saw the London version a couple of years ago, and it remains my all time favourite musical. Very imaginative and extremely clever. After a while you sort of forgot that the 'animals' were made up of puppetry and people.

Same .

It's the first time I've actually loved DwtS. It just shows much better built their set is too our. We could never pull off something like that on SCD.

The Lion King looks fantastic, it appears to be right up there with the stage version of Beauty and the Beast. Shame that Tarzan and The Little Mermaid shows didn't quite capture the same magic.

Excellent spot though from the Vegas cast. I can imagine its impressive in a relatively small Broadway/West End theatre, I can only imagine what its like in a casino uber-theatre.

Its really not the kind of thing I would usually like but I was really overwhelmed by it, to the point where I shed a tear. Yes I am a stupid fool.

You have to go and see it. It really is the most amazing show to watch even if you're not usually a fan of that sort of thing.

You should have seen me at the London version, I took my then 5 year old who has dyspraxia and ADHD and has, to this day, never sat through a tv programme or film, but sat transfixed through the whole show. I sobbed, on the verge of hysterics, through it. It's the most beautiful, wondrous, magical, awe-inspiring spectacle that I have ever seen.
