I love Aliona, the bad girl of Strictly! I don't care about her illegal lifts and flashy coreography, I just find her exciting to watch - those drop/spin/drag things she did with Rav tonight were fantastic - that woman sure can move fast!

I like her as a personality and I'm not bothered about 'illegal' lifts (and there are a lot of hypocrites here where that's concerned)....but she went totally the wrong way with the choreo for Rav tonight.

I don't care about her bad girl image or how well she dances. Aliona let Rav down badly by not teaching to his strengths. More experienced pros like Karen, Lilia, Ola, Erin and Camilla would have done better with him. As said on the show thread, there is a big difference in teaching a celeb for four months on SCD than giving someone dancing lessons once a week. I think Aliona will have learned a lot in her short time on SCD, especially just how hard the other pros work at making their celebs look good. Who knows? She might be asked back.

You summed up how I feel about her OP.

Aliona stood out from the crowd.

I took to her straight away and shall miss her.

I just thought her routine tonight was too busy. Maybe she was hoping to hide Rav's flaws but he just ended up in more of a tiz.

I hope they give the lass another chance next year. She didn't get time to settle in properly.

Didn't care for Rav at all, but Aliona was a nice looking girl and it's a shame to see her go.

However, if that gives me some more Ola time, I'll be very happy.

I do know what people mean about her making the dances all about her, and not considering her celebrity partner enough. I hope she can learn to help her partners more in future, so she will be asked back - the judges don't seem to have warmed to her, do they? But I can't help liking her, she's just so sparky!

No seriously, Aliona should really not return, like Haley. If she thinks running around with Rav and putting glue on the soles of Rav's shoes while doing the charleston is the way to go, then she should go way back to where she's from pronto.

I love Aliona.

Hear Hear to this she is like a breath of fresh air and she looked absolutely stunning tonight, she will hopfully learn from her experiences on SCD this year and come back next year with all guns blazing (and hopefully a better partner)

I'd be surprised to see her back, I think she was to blame for Rav departing tonight, the choreography just wasn't right for him at all.

The comparisons with Hayley are on the money IMO.

No, Hayley was a boring goody-goody, Aliona is naughty but nice! (My opinion only I grant you! )

I thought Rav and Aliona were great tonight and far better then Joe, Jo or Lynda. I'll have to watch them again to see all the faults the judges were talking about.

I loved the routine tonight and loved Aliona, it was a lot more relaxed for Rav which made it in the end more interesting and exciting. It was one of my favourite dances of the night.

I hope Aliona's back next year!

Loved Aliona, my favourite of the new girls by far - and much preferred to many of the old ones; she most certainly won't be returning next year. Out early (like Haley), and the judges criticised her both weeks she performed.

If she does return she needs to learn quickly that you need to choreograph to a celebrities strengths. I think Rav had potential this year, but the choreography was poor.

Saying that I didn't think the Tango was a bad as the judges said (minus the lift).

I hope you're wrong there Aleksis. I really thought the judges were most unfair to Aliona as I thought she did an excellent job with Rav. Just their bad luck to get the quick step. I bet he would have been fab in the Paso.

Not too bothered about Aliona and Rav going out, I don't think her choreography played to Rav's strengths. Also don't think Rav and Aliona should have been paired together - I keep wanting to call them Ravioli!

like Claudia did

agree that her choreography didn't show off Rav but show off her skills instead. She's a good dancer and I love her dancing with Matt C but she hasn't shown herself as a good teacher and her style is more DWTS but with more time and more knowledge of what Strictly is about she could have been better.

I like Aliona but i do think she let Rav down a bit with the choreography, i hope they dont bin her for the next series though that would be a loss

I love watching Aliona dance and I think she looks great with Matthew. I would like to see her given another chance cos I think the two blonds are a bit boring.

I doubt she will be asked back but at least we will have lots of pro dances to watch her in!

I really like her with Matt as she doesn't try to out-do him... even if she did she couldn't as he dances in a league where she isn't. However, if you look at Ola in her first series she was very me me me but she has grown to work with her partner.

Aliona is gorgeous and a breath of fresh air to the show.

She has formed a great partnership with Matt, and got the short straw with her partner compared to the 2 other new girls IMO.

I gather she is signed up for the tour and I am sure she will be back for the next series
