although I find Tesspit vapid beyond description, I did think that black strapless dress was to die for and she did look fantastic on the first show (no idea what she wore for results edition) despite having all the facial expression of a chip butty.

I think (unless im very much mistaken -which has happened once or twice) that faster latin numbers will be her downfall.

Me too! It's like a guilty, shameful secret isn't it? But he's the only having any bloody fun. Most of them look like they're being tortured, or that their life depends on it, not being paid to prance around in a sometimes pretty frock or slashed-to-the-waist shirt and fake tan.

There are plenty of things to have angst about in the world, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, but not appearing on a flippin Saturday teatime tv show, get some proportion people!

I think you are spot on. Not sure she can do 'naturally sexy' to save her life.

She does look so much better in those architecturally structured dresses, that one last night was gorgeous and she's stopped, in general, putting the stupid flowers/bows/whatever on them that make her shoulders look like an olympic swimmer and thank god, no gormless belt! Hurrah!

Yes, Ricky is at least 'aving a laff' as Len would say and even CRH is appreciating that.
I think he might drop the act soon though and start really dancing -I think he may well be a finalist.

Calzaghe seemed to have lightened up a bit as well.
Ricky Whittle (despite being a very good dancer) needs to be more lighthearted -this isnt a Julliard audition FFS.

I love venting and always feel better after a good vent. Better out than in as my mother would say. My chief vents are James "Mirror Mirror on the wall" Jordan, Tess "Woodentop" Daly-Kay, wife of Vernon"it's not thur" Kay, OPs who rant on about weight, size, and display hyper-precious behaviour if anyone dares to disagree with their opinion.

If something is good I will say so but if something is bad I will say so too. I am sure Alesha is a lovely girl and she does have valid things to say without being shot up in flames for saying it - but, her laugh. Poor girl sounds like a exactly like a witch on heat (whatever a witch on heat sounds like). I have never heard such a fine cackle since Margaret Hamilton's portrayal of The Wicked Witch of the West , or the character Witchepoo in HR Puffenstuff.

To sum up, in the words of Voltaire (yes, I read Voltaire and Winnie the Pooh ), "I disagree with what you say but defend to death your right to say it.

Feels good once you get started doesn't it?

Can't agree with the bold though! but agree with your last sentence, so you can say whatever you want as far as I'm concerned!

True, true - and if a judge is particularly nasty or bitchy to a competitor you must never, ever refer to it. The twisted logic behind this is they are being funny and you don't understand irony or humour. Vent: it is not funny, clever or in anyway entertaining to savagely attack anyone when they are doing their best.

Yes, I find Ali and her facial expressions extremely annoying. Perhaps it's because I have never been able to play the 'I'm a poor defenceless little girl and I'll fall apart if you're horrid to me' card. Throughout my life people have always assumed that I'm a tough cookie who can take anything - on the whole a correct assumption but not invariably so.

Wearing my Dr Freud hat, I'd say it all comes from not being pretty as a child and being tall for my age, which meant I always had to take male parts in my girls' grammar school plays and take the lead in country dancing. Ah me! what a blighted youth!

So I'm probably secretly envious of Ali.

An overwashed round leaf lettuce - the sort that gets all bruised & raggedy in a salad spinner.

Now there's an idea for a showdance....

He reminds me of an anxious little rodent of some sort or other - a little bank vole, maybe.

I have very little tolerance [well, OK, none at all if I'm truthful] for soppy girlies. And the Alibot is the soppiest girlie I've seen for a long time. Have a bit of backbone, woman!

Nah - she's a stick of celery that's been left out of the fridge for a couple of days. Limp, saggy, no flavour, boring.

Brian and Ali should spend all their evenings this week in salsa clubs.

Firstly, Saturday would then be a breeze (unless they're given the Fox to do of course, oops!) and secondly, if there's any truth at all in those press rumours about them, we would see 'naturally sexy'. And if not, at least we'll know it was just press rumours.

I am still not appreciating Joe and his bloody shadow boxing routine. If he put more effort in on the dancefloor then maybe he wouldn't be so cringe worthy.
