Didnt watch it properly last night, but seeing it again this morning all I could think was how fast do they move?

Just the type of quickstep I like - fast, fun and energetic. The song choice also helped a lot.

Anyone else liked it as much as I did? Thought they were a bit undermarked and felt they deserved atleast one 9 from any of the judges if not more..

It was definitely my favourite quickstep of the night... their cha cha was my favourite of all those in the first two weeks as well.

I love Jade and Ian, and I did enjoy their quickstep - it was so fast Ian was out of breath and sweating by the end! One of my favourite dances of the night.

Agreed, especially considering a lot of the quicksteppers really struggled to complete their routines without mistakes. I doubt I could do one so polished after 5/6 days training.

It was very fast and enjoyable to watch but there were a lot of errors and timing issues when the camera allowed you to see her feet so it wasn't undermarked in my opinion.

They were really good, especially if it is true that they are both ill with bad colds at the moment.

That would explain why Ian was sweating so much afterward!

I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Ok there were a few mistakes but, on the whole it was a very entertaining dance. I laughed when Ian couldn't speak to Tess because he was so breathless.

Jade and Ian are rapidly becoming one of my faves.

I thought it was the best QS of the night, they are a lovely couple.

I think jade can come out of this being the best dancers she reminds me of denise lewis

Imo Ian and Jade are the couple who are quietly working away in the background, no fuss, no headline stories etc., just getting on with it.

I do hope they do well

Great post. That's how I feel about them as well. They could be the "real" dark horses of the show.

At the moment, Jade is third on my personal list, and third on my winning potential list. Which are two slightly different lists...

Jade impressed me last night for the first time. I really enjoyed their quickstep and they were one of the best quicksteps of the night with Ali.

Really warming to Jade and her partnership with Ian hope they keep continuing to improve.

I appreciated the speed but I really thought it was to the detriment of finesse. I thought her top line was far too wobble and there were too many timing errors. I thought she was over marked!

But then again I only ever watch ballroom dancing on strictly so I'm no expert

I think they needed a bigger studio, personally. I'd love to see them get to the final and do it again.

Ian choreographs a great quickstep, doesn't he?

Loved that QS... thought the others lacked the magic and pizzazz that Ian and Jade managed. Footwork not perfect but intepretation of the dance and mood - spot on.

Really beginning to like Jade - she may be my Jodie this year.

God help Ian if he and Jade progress to the American Smooth and do it a Quickstep.

Can the woman do the lifting in the AS? Jade looks like she could spin Ian round all night and still not be out of breath!

It was quite scary how at the end, Ian could barely stand up for their chat with the judges whilst Jade looked like she'd been for a gentle stroll.

I'm looking forward to her chucking him all over the place in a showdance - but that's me getting a bit ahead of myself.

I really enjoyed their quickstep, and my god they were so quick and covered so much floor!

Poor Ian will be exhausted by the time the series ends.

Loved Jade's cha-cha and that quickstep put the seal on her potential contendership for me. If she can transfer a bit better to the more 'elegant' dances then she'll go far, especially as the couples get fewer and she has more time to come out of her shell.

I think they both had a heavy cold this week, so Ian was apparently still suffering more than Jade.

Cold or no cold, Ian is going to earn his money with Ms Johnson this year.

I thought they were great. I know nothing about dancing, but any dance that involves a 6' 4'' bloke being launched off the top of the steps by his partner gets my vote.

I thought it was great! I really like Jade and think she has bags of potential to get a lot better, her & Ian are fast becoming my favourite couple.

It's quite an interesting exercise to measure out 22' plus & contemplate just how far she can fling herself through the air! Quite awesome, really.
