I flamin' LOVED it, I thought it was thrilling, breathless fun. Of course it wasn't perfect, but it was full of spirit and joy.

Really enjoyed it. I think they may be becoming my favourite partnership.

I liked their QS. didn't see anything wrong with their 'long jumping' over the stairs....loved it in fact. They're not my favourite couple, but I do like the pairing, and I think Jade will do very well in the Latin dances.

And what about Jade then? Anyone seen this from Anne Gripper's blog in the Mirror?

"Brave/foolish moment of the week: Jade Johnson
Made use of every bit of the floor - but you wouldn't get me leaping off the stage in high heels to a quickstep"

Too right! And this:

"Quickstep of the week: Jade Johnson and Ian Waite
A bit rougher around the edges than some dances admittedly but full of energy, fun, great choreography and awesome music. That is why I love the quickstep".

OK Ian is my favourite pro, and he can usually be relied upon to produce a decent QS routine, but I'm so glad Jade is shaping up to be quite a contender and she comes across as a nice girl. As someone's already said she just gets on with it. We only had one "tallist" comment from Len, but hopefully she'll be the first "tall girl" to do well in the faster dances.

Lots of energy and sparkle and loved the music too, it was used in an ad recently I think?

It was Diet Coke, I think? The one where the bride starts messing up the wedding photos and another woman makes a guy think he's being hit on by another guy in a bar?

The song's called Fascination, by Alphabeat.

That's the ad, cheers

Praise indeed!

Another, totally biased Ian fan here, but I think they really did step up to the mark with their Quickstep. So good to see Jade a getting positive reaction too as she has had more than her share of negativity.

Thanks for the info about the music - a really good choice I thought.

Three Left Feet (you sound like me actually), I loved your description of the jump off the stage and it was, of course, reason enough to vote for them.

I assume that is what Jade was referring to when she said to Ian "Of course I can do that!"

Coordination, grace and style are vastly overated

I wanted to register as Two Left Feet, but someone had got there first.

It was OK, a little bit wild in places, and I'm sorry, but every time I look at her I see a man in drag !

Well said Tissy, especially after all the horrible things being said about Jade.

Well done to them both.

I think that they were definately the best QS of the night and it must be so hard for the men to do such a fast dance in a tail suit. I remember last year Ian was sweating after the QS with Jodie and Jade is much fitter/faster than Jodie

Just wait until Jive week. I'm predicting a steady build up of comments about Jade's height culminating in a bursting of the dam as the Jive approaches.

I personnally hope she does it really well just to spite Len

Poor Ian. Age catches up with us all, especially when you're 38 and training with a 29 year-old Olympic athlete.

And gorgeous.

What is age when you enjoy what you do. I have just watched Donny Osmond in Dancing With The Stars doing an amazing Jive and he's 52

Ian always put so much energy and passion in all his dances. Love him,

Maybe they will do the quickstep on the tour?
Jade said that was only 50% of what she could do (due to lack of space), so they'd be spectacular on the big stage in Birmingham.

And Ian would probably really die of exhaustion if they have to do THAT every day in the tour.

That would be a first, if the celeb was limited by the pro.

(OOPS! forgot Anton)

Remember James Jordan lost 11lb dancing with Gabby and she was out in the third week. Imagine if we'll still see the lights of James if they went further in the competition?!
