Remember THAT showdance last year??

How could we forget?

This is a thread where you can write about the moments in this year's strictly that make you cringe.

Of course, nothing will ever compare to THAT showdance in terms of cringeworthy - ness. But we can mark it on the LSD (Lisa's showdance) scale.

What about Ricky's open mouth? Rav's cartwheel? Joe and Kristina's get-a-roomness?

The LSD scale goes from 0-10. Zero being not at all cringey and 10 being a supreme bacofoilness of cringeyness!

Andy Williams , bless his little old heart was seriousely cringy . The wavering voice was remiss of an old granda at his 60th wedding anniversary who gets up for one last shot .

And I am finding Jo little girls voice and look very cringy

Aliona's choreography is especially cringe-tastic. That spilt she did in the Quickstep wouldnt have looked out of place in a cheap porno.

Joe , everytime he dances , its a bacofoil moment

somehow for me its not funny I think it is because I suspect he thinks he is doing well !

Yes - I had to switch channels as soon as he sang 'Moon.....' I knew it wasn't going to be good!

He seems like a nice bloke - but the boxing references (that belt!) can only go so far!

I found the Andy Williams song very sad - another case of someone needing to tell him that he shouldn't do it. I grew up with the Andy Williams show in the States and while it wasn't a particular fav, that song last night is how I will remember him from this point on. Very sad.

Yep, it was Andy Williams for me too. His effortless note-perfect smoothness used to be his trademark, and then this. Oh dear! Serious question, has he got a couple of ex-wives to pay for?

I still haven't managed to watch the infamous showdance through for a second time Mamaboogie. My cringeometer goes into overdrive even thinking about it.

In terms of this series, Joe's 'dancing' does it to me every time. I can't watch it for a full minute and a half.

I know this is against the majority view, but Ricky G's 'comedy' is starting to register on my cringeometer.

Lynda's Devil Woman outfit and routine.

Especially that "get you from behind moment", brought tears to my eyes that did...

Ummm, let's call that a 6.

Yep - and coupled with the 'Hattie Jaques in a strop face', it did sound on my cringeometer too.

11 on the Cringeometer for me would be anytime Bruce does his end of series song and dance number. The duet with Anton was off the scale for me. Bless, I do like Brucie but no - just no.

That's the very reason after a few notes I pressed mute and went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea, didn't want that to be my abiding memory of AW and Moon River. It is very sad, and someone should have reminded him of the old showbiz adage 'to leave them wanting more'.

Joe's cape and belt! Couldn't bear to watch!

Oh yes, the "Snatch & Jerk" showdance. That was turned up to 11 on the cringometer!

Back to this series, have to agree about Joe's belt & cape last night. Let alone his walking, ermmmmmm dancing?! A 9 on the cringeometer.

I'm finding Lynda a touch embarrassing at the moment.

It's as if she's trying too hard to be funny and is massively over-acting her dances.

About a 4 on the cringe-ometer.

When will Darren get another decent celeb? If I was a celebrity (and not just in the Boogie household ) I would volunteer to get him from behind.....

I've just remembered a cringey moment from last night - when Jo Wood had been on and Bruce starts singing 'I can't get no satisfaction'.....doesn't he realise that Jo's Rolling Stone husband dumped her for a 20 year old? Very sensitive Brucie!

Yes, I stand corrected the stand and jerk does merit an 11 on the LSD scale!

Sid - you know I adore Darren so much - but Lynda was bad last night. Her faces are hilarious!

Hmm. I think Ricky W and Natalie's... "outfits" last night might have come from the same dressing up box as Lisa's bacofoil... I was a little bit sick.

Sorry for being dense but what was Lisa's showdance cringeworthiness all about?

Brendan and Lisa based their showdance routine for the SCD 2008 final on a performance by world champions Craig Smith and Natalie Wolf. They were guests during the previous week, when they did this amazing demanding routine - a mix of balancing acrobatics and ballet. It was really good, but when Lisa and Brendan tried to do a similar routine it floundered from the start. Brendan could barely lift Lisa at times so it was painful to watch, and they overacted the choreography. Dont think anyone has had a nice word to say about it !

That was a 12 on the cringe-ometer.

Bruce talking about affairs between pros and their partners just before Flavia danced was cringeworthy.

Pro Natalie's paso dress.

All of Rav's QS.

Oh the memories.... especially Brendan trying with all his might to lift Lisa, and very very nearly dropping her.

I've always wondered if they realised how truly bad it was.

Would love it of they did a special reprise of that magic moment, would deffo cheer the nation up.
