PC tuner advice
Hi guys,
I need some advice on tuner cards for my PC; if any of you can help then I'd be very grateful. I need a card that allows me to hook games consoles up to the PC. I don't need HD support, but analogue RF and composite are necessary. I also need support for PAL and NTSC-J as I have UK and Japanese hardware. Does anyone have any advice? Cheers |

Speak to Hauppauge on their forum [click], but don't be surprised if you need to buy 2 cards one for PAL and one for NTSC J. The 1100/1300 range of PCI cards seems to fit your requirements for non-satellite use.
Analogue RF is dying out here, in the UK, and will shortly be turned off completely. But maybe your intention is to hook up a VHS recorder? |

Yes I recommend Hauppage too. Their forum is also excellent.
