The votes have clearly been split between the two 'cuties'.

I'm not gonna complain though, Joe and Lloyd are my top 2 faves! ”

I'd be more worried about the total number of votes cast for anyone at all - this is the biggest show on TV with viewer numbers pushing 10 million and so far on DS not even 100 people have voted for any contestant! That's not exactly a sign of huge enthusiasm.

Anyway, don't worry, I think Joe's votes will soar after he has sung live, not so sure about Lloyd. It's very hard to pick a winner until you see and hear the contestants in the live finals, they've been so edited and what we've seen is so carefull controlled that we don't really know what some of them are capable of or who will take a hit through nerves or over-exposure.

Jamie Archer's my fave. I really like Ollie aswell and Danyl. Lucie's quite sweet but other than that, I think the acts are quite weak this year.

The groups and the boys are the worst categories. Me thinks Chezza won't be winning this year.

Stacey is my favourite, so voted for her. I really like Lucie and Rachel, they both come a close second. So, all the girls!

Plus Olly and Miss FRANK.

It's Jamie Archer for me. Just hoping he gets a good song to really showcase his talent.

Think it will be a win for Danni or Simons category this year.

Actually im gonna go with Lloyd
I went with talent last year with Austin (the best male singer on the show imo) and that failed

J+E are more popular than Rikki, Kandy Rain, Lloyd, Joe and have the same amount of votes as Danyl.

When will this thread close? Saturday at say, midday?

Another one needs to go up on Sunday night when the first act is booted off.

Looking forward to see how this first week's live shows will affect the voting. I reckon there will be a lot of movement!!

Stacey Solomon for me

Beautiful voice, utterly hilarious and very warm, genuine personality from what I've seen so far. I think she's got the full package and has the potential to win this competition with Dannii as mentor. Feel she really connects with the viewer in a way that few of the other finalists have so far.

Good luck Stacey!

I like Jamie, but not sure that x factor favours the rock type artist.

same goes for Stacey whom I also think is great, there is nothing wrong in ballady songs, it works for plenty of other artists, i don't see Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum doing badly out of it so why not a woman?

X factor seems to prefer a jack of all trades and master of none type person, just to get through the live's, then finds that they can't do much with them cos they are not strong enough in any genre to make it.

I like Jamie, Rachel, Lucie, and Miss Frank. I voted Rachel for now but my favourite could easily switch among these 4 acts.
