Some people clearly seem to be of the opinion that there can never be enough threads about Alesha

We are stuck with Alesha now whether we like it or not, i dont care anymore actually, if she has an earpiece well at least it stops her spouting "fierce" all time

Yes - but to admit that would be to give up on the basis of half the pointless threads on these boards

Alesha has got to be aided by someone through an earpiece...got to be..otherwise no way in hell she could have redeemed herself in 24 hrs, not even the following week where she could have at least more time to learn bits & pieces....but no we are talking "24 hrs"!!!

Just wrong.”

What on Earth are you going on about?

Are you now seriously complaining that she's good?

Why is that a problem?

And who cares how it happens, apart from production-detail nerds?

What's the fuss for?

I don't think she's appreciably better. I think people have just got used to her. I don't find "FIERCE" to Lynda any more obnoxious than "GENIUS!" to Ricky. And she's talking about technicalities more or less the same as she was week 1. She's less nervous, but generally I just think people are getting over it with time, as they usually do.

I wonder whether that means that we can all repeat our comments from the alternative thread? Ho hum indeed

Well - when we're done with criticising her grammar and language skills (which are not good) and her generalised comments in judging, the next step is obviously to find an unflattering reason for her more incisive comments. I mean - so much more witty and entertaining than accepting that she might have settled/ improved.

I think she was better in Week 2 - Week 1 was Ms Bland from Blandtown.

But Week 3 was a bit of a backslide I thought.

So out of 10, I'd mark her*:
- Week 1: 4
- Week 2: 7
- Week 3: 6

Arlene, for comparison, would be 5-6 most of the time.

* Notice how I cunningly avoided the obvious give-her-1 pun...

Are you having a earpiece fetish or something?

Surely, you can't miss the other ACTIVE thread that never got off the first page talking *specifically* about Alesha and her alleged earpiece with experts spoon-feeding her 'clever' but 'grammatically dubious' comments on the other end?

I am going to alert the moderator to MERGE these two threads...

I love the idea of the Shouty Producer as it goes very well with the Shouty Salsa Man!

Earpiece? It's clearly Arlene in a Slitheen-style skin suit of Alesha.

It amazes me that, in a show where it's all about people working hard, preparing, rehearsing and improving, anyone should have a problem with people who, well, are reputed to work hard, prepare, rehearse and improve.

Why aren't we having a go at Len and Bruno for not doing so, but swanning off to Hollywood for most of the week?

Why do some people imagine that all the judges, including St Len Of Goodman, somehow came as perfect from the start?

If someone involved in the show is working hard, and is seen to be improving based on that work, surely that's a Good Thing?

What am I missing here?

The insatiable desire for sensationalism to triumph over reality.

I never thought I'd say it - but I fear I might agree! They might have made me grind my teeth, but with their removal, the most dominant feature has become repetitive sniping. Not a Good Look...

yep I'm also regretting agreeing the app threads should be in a separate forum. Everything now seems to be post same topic 3 or 4 times, have same row 3 or 4 times, repeat self ad inifinitum on each thread.

It went on last year too - however they could all "hide" in amongst the appreciation threads

On topic - Alesha is improving imo, earpiece to tell her what to say?

I think I'd welcome an earpiece that improved her grammer. And Len's. And redeemed Craig's OTT "Dahling" speak from disaarster. Bruno-speak can stay as it is. I think...

ear pieces eh, so its not her own words which makes her presence even more pointless.
