apparently the fan that shouted at DT that he wasn't a competition winner is called David Bickerstaff, who compares at a lot of the conventions and has done some work on Big Finish etc, which is presumably why he thought DT should have recognised him (rather stupid, imho). He doesn't seem to be a well liked chap and they are giving him a real kicking on GB about it. I find it rather unpleasant, since it was a amusing moment, no more, no less for me.

I did think it was a bit of a rude outburst, but not worth giving the guy a hard time over.

i just think it's one of those things that happened in the pressure of the moment. He looked utterly mortified afterwards!

Yeah, definitely looked embarrassed, as though he wished he had reined himself in a moment earlier.

lol, yes too bad they didn't go down that route for series 3.. the irony of them having Jack apologise for HIS bad behaviour is not lost on me though!

Yes he did and very embarrassed. He made a complete a**e of himself in front of a lot of people and worse for him in front of DT. JV, for once, made light of it, he actually deflated the situation quite well and David was charming as always! He realised what an idiot he looked and as you say, he was obviously mortified, surely that is enough. He did that on TV!!!

Yep, he's good isn't he! Hope he doesn't leave us for The US though. I love the way he says "Moors" in part one and I must admit to a squee when he talks about the photos and he says "doctor" them!!!! Sad I know!!!

What Memebers of th innuendo squad are paid
And I thought you were doing that for Art's sake

The Jack/Doctor video was funny. But I have to admit that for my taste, nothing will ever that very simple line in The sound of drums : "You too, uh ?" !

Great line, beautifully delivered. Gets me every time and suits my taste too.

Thanks for that - I hadn't seen them yet.

I couldn't really get into 'A Place of Execution' on TV, but think it may have been because I had read the book when it came out, so the surprises were not surprises for me.
