Hi,

Getting a recording conflict on the following

8-9pm Channel 5 Gadget Show
9-10 pm Channel 5 Flash forward
9-10pm Channel 4 The sky walker

I thought the new fancy autopadding was supposed to do away with these type of conflicts? Went in and manually fixed it by setting the gadget show to finish at scheduled time but I thought we didnt have to do this anymore?

That should be ok. I have found that if I remove and re-create series recordings that I created before the software update then everything works fine.

If you have any series recording requests that include a 5 minute hard pad at the end of the programme then it is recommended that you edit them. This is because the use of hard padding over-rides the soft/auto padding therefore resulting in you being unable to benefit from the new feature.
