I quite accept the possibility that she could still be useless at her job, I just don't feel that she's yet had a chance to show what she can (or can't!) do.”

This IS series 7!!! She really has all the chances she could ask for. Strangely, Series 2 was mostly excellent - when Spangles was doing it.

I really do accept that she IS useless at her job (lol)

Quite.

I've seen her presenting other programmes - she really is just a terrible presenter.

I'm always amazed by her enormous collection of crap-looking, cheapo plastic belts.

Outfit not looking sh*tty enough? I know, I'll wear one of *these*....

Damn right!

I don't think Tess is unsympathetic, but she's totally unnatural in front of the cameras and I hate 95% of her clothes. Someone in Wardrobe needs sacking!

Does Tess simper? Really?

I know what "simper" means, and I have a kind of image of what it looks like, but I don't associate it with Tess at all.

Does anyone have a pic or clip of Tess supposedly simpering?

I not a fan of Tess and I know it's very easy to criticise but the one thing which gets me about her, and I say it to my OH every week - 7 series of Strictly and she still cannot dance!
You'd think she'd make an effort to learn a few simple steps so she can dance with Bruce on the stage

She has been co-presenting Strictly for years and mixed with the best dancers in the world who also happen to be brilliant teachers. If they can't teach her to pick up a few simple steps - what does that tell you? That in itself speaks volumes to me.

Tess is a talentless presenter who can't present, can't sing, can't act and can't dance. People go on about Bruce Forsythe and while his jokes are extremely lame (probably penned by the Script Writer) - he can dance, and is a consummate presenter and all-round entertainer- whether you like his style or not.

All Tess does is simper, pull faces and tell people they gave it their all. She is more wooden than a plank of wood and completely vacuous. The poor woman has absolutely no charisma.

It does make me wonder how she actually landed one of the plum jobs in television broadcasting. The job should go to someone who has a bubbly personality - sorry Ms Daley you have passed your sell-by date and I really pray that your contract will be terminated at the end of this series.

There were reports in June that she had signed a two-year contract with the show. If that's true, I'm afraid your prayers won't be answered just yet.

Did you hear her last week reviewing each couples dance?

She turned to Joe and asked him in her most wooden manner "If you are in the bottom two will you come out fighting"

Yuck!

And that overpaid dinosaur Forsythe with his self indulgent dance routine at the start of the show. I am sure his legs will fall off (hopefully) one week

Yuck as well

A good post weaselfeatures the pair of them need shooting

Forsythes ridiculous dance routine makes me puke and woodentop Tess with the capped Bugs Bunny teeth is as wooden as my rose trellis.

It beggars belief that such a popular programme is hosted by these two dopes

I am getting used to her. I can't believe I just wrote that but it's true.

On the other paw Bruce is annoying me something rotten. And please don't tell me that it's the fault of the gag-writers. I'm sure he exercises editorial authority over his material.

To be honest, its just the empty things she says.
I think that's why Bruno shines..everytime he speaks its original and interesting.
Craig too
Alesha may be becoming more accepted because she's speaking with a little more depth and variety.

I just wish she would sit down and think hard and come up with questions which would be a little more interesting and a little less predicable and somewhat shallow.

That's one the reasons why SCD is more watchable for me..the comments are more varied and interesting and you generally don't have the normal XFactor, "you owned it", "you gave it your all" type of comments.
Maybe Tess should present Xfactor..sorted

I'd be happy with quirky and immensely likeable Claudia presenting.
