Will Wii .....
Ok i have a 46" Panny plasma, just had a look at the back of it and i can see 7 connectors, i'm sure this is the component but someone correct me if i'm wrong, anyway there's 3 red, 2 white, 1 blue, and 1 green, the official Nintendo component cable has 1 green, 1 blue, 1 white, and 2 red, so where would i connect these to my set as i will have 2 spare slots, 1 red and 1 white?
Also will the pq be ok on a 46" plasma? thanks.........

Wii cable - Red, green and blue will be the video (component), the red/white will be the audio.
Looks like the TV has got audio inputs (red/white) and audio outputs (red/white), these should be labelled clearly. You will need to connect to the audio inputs as this will be the audio source for component. The remaining red/white will be audio outputs, these can be used when connecting to an external sound system. Component should be labelled clearly too, either R.G.B/YPbPr or colour coded. Once connected you will have to select component manually from the TV as there is no video switching on component, not like there can be on scart. Resolution is only 480p but the PQ will be alright - my son has one hooked up to a 50" plasma and looks OK to me. |
