Hi there,,I have just started a 24 month contract with vodafone too,and i was assured by the sales rep in phones4u that I could upgrade through them in 18 months. Since then,I have been in touch with vodafone direct, and they say as long as I take out another 24 month contract I can upgrade through them in 12 months. Sounds good to me !

Does that mean you are on a 36 month contract with them?

When I was with Three they upgraded me early to a 12 month contract, which actually turned out to be a 15 month contract. The new 12 month one + the 3 months remaining of my previous contract.

If you upgrade with Vodafone direct, that's correct. Any remaining months on your original contract, will be added to the end of the new one.

If you upgrade at the end of 18 months with P4U, they will pay off the remainder of your contract usually so you start afresh.
