Ricky dancing in Hollyoaks Comic relief dance

(I'm sure this will have been posted before, so please don't shoot me down in flames, if it offends you that I'm behind the times just let the thread disappear down the list and it will be gone forever very soon)

But.......I went and looked this up because people were referencing it and I think it's great! I don't know how I missed it at the time!

The characters are so different from the actors themselves, just shows how you have no idea about a person just because you've seen them in a soap!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taaObv-UIyw

This is NOT a thread to start up the old dance experience pre-show debate, just a chance for me to share with a few others who may not have seen Ricky dancing before

xx

That made me

Thanks for posting it. The dance was a bit erratic and it wasn't Ricky's finest dancing moment. I suppose it was just a bit of camp fun though.

Well at least it might quell some of the "Ricky is always too serious about his dancing" comments. Shows he has a good SOH and can have a joke with the best of them.

Thanks for that. It's fun to see it and it certainly isn't 'unfair' prior experience. Shame the men wore sunglasses for most of it as it took a lot of the personality out of their performances for me. They put a lot of energy in it, though.

Got to say, though, what it really did was make me wish Robert Webb was on SCD!

Okay I watched the clip again, and I think he had the potential to do a good jive (if he points his feet more) and definitely no problem with AS or QS for that matter, seeing he was prancing around without breaking a sweat and he did that famous 'Darren Gough showdance drop' with the lady actor in the end.
