Ok, that was just to grab attention, I am a big fan of Eastenders and have always watched the show, I don't actually think it is bollux, well apart from lately!

Is anyone suffering from complete boredom at the moment?

I'm finding the storylines are dragging on for too long, yet again (Who shot Phil? - How crap was that)

I am sick to death of the Ferreiras, they are so ungrateful to Tariq and couldn't care less about him, EE is currently revolving around them backstabbing and whinging constantly, deport Adi, that should be a laugh! lol

Adi drives me mad. What is his problem?

BTW - Is it me or is Tariq actually quite attractive in a cute but vulnerable way?

I don't know what it is with Adi, he's just always trying to please Dan but if he was my dad and had suddenly dissapeared off the face of the earth I wouldn't open the stall up early every morning or clean the house, I'd have a lie in then do whatever I bloody well liked!

Also Adi was very scared about buying sweaters off Vicky - coz they 'are not our kinda thing' and dad would go mad! Who cares Adi, its your f**king stall not his!

Is it just me,or does Tariq sometimes come across as though he's a little bit unhinged (last nights episode when he was talking to Ash)? I think it's something to do with his intonation, and the emphasis he puts on certain words.
He gets more and more like his dad every day....

On the Subject of Tariq - Does anyone recognise him from Only Fools and Horses? He was the son of a millionaire in the episode where Del boy and co go to France and end up bringing "Tariq" back in the back of Denzels lorry by accident!!!

OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhh, yeeeeeeesss!!!!!!!!

I do remember that, the one that looked bewildered and kept saying "Garreeee" as Del had 'named' him.

And as for Tariq, I can't say I find him attractive, but there's something about him that I do find slightly fascinating, like he's got a sort of weird depth to him.

I hope the writers get the message and move it along more briskly.

It is all the duller when you have read 4 weeks spoilers in advance.

Tariq drove me nuts last night, Every odd word he said he stretched as far as it would go, one sentence almost lasted the whole episode.

Yes the Ferreiras are a pretty dreadful bunch. None of them are likeable and after months of them being in there, the audience couldn't care less if they dropped off the face of the earth.

And Ian/Laura at each others throats: *YAWN* it's been done about 20 times before.

That constant Ian/Laura bitching just gets worse and worse, its so boring  and just makes me hate Ian even more! Its amazing how the writers came up with something this childish! I want Phil to come back and flush Ian's head down the bog again!

The constant little digs at Laura are the worst like for example: "One days kids this will all be yours, we are going to own Walford". And "just doing the best by my kids, building up the Beale Empire". - Grrrrrrrr makes me wanna throw up over the TV then send it on a flight out of the window.

ROFLMAO

Maybe he's a little over-excited about having some Big Dramatic Storylines (TM), and is doing all he can to notch up screen time, as hopefully the Fereira family will soon be leaving the square. In the back of a cab.

I totally agree Eastenders has been really rubbish these past few weeks, the storylines have gotten totally dismal. I mean Dan Ferriera for example.. c'mon no father goes away and then forgets to call his family for weeks!

I am so tired of the Ferreiras and the Ian/Laura feud storylines. Adi is soooo annoying and I can't wait to see Laura blown to bits yay!!! then we are finally rid of her, it;s a pity the Ferriera's can't get blown up with her!!!

Apparently the guy who plays Dan Ferreira did not have a proper work permit whilst he was working on EE, he was fighting the case not to be deported but since its taken so long and he isn't around I guess he did get deported! They could have thought of something better than him just going to India and forgetting he had a family and forgetting his son's birthday etc etc. EE should have used his real life story - him being deported, then the rest of the family go on the run not realising they have the right to stay because they were born in Britain. Lol, way to get rid of them at least!

Even though we never saw him leave the family just suddenly knew he was in India, they were phoning their uncles in India to see where he was and also said to Ronny about not getting a birthday card - well you know the post in India, how do they know he's there if they did not see him leave and their uncles do not know where he is?

EE is getting so stupid (probably because it's on 4 times a week and they run out of ideas)

Kate dates Ian Beale? Come on!!!!

I think that is the last link in the chain. Everyone in Albert Square has now slept with everyone else.

Surely, they can wrap this 19 year series up now!

The scriptwriters cleverly dealt with this little matter by not showing Dan on screen for about three months, and then featuring the following conversation:
Adi: Oh, I'm so tired, having got up at three this morning to take Dad to the airport.
Kareena: Lucky Dad, I wish I was going to Goa.

The writers must have felt so pleased that they dealt with the matter so effectively
And why have they given up the storyline with the vanishing mother?

almost every sentence begins with 'do you remember.....'
the scripts are utterly embarassing and make me cringe.
(scriptwriters haven't a clue about character development)
the producers could purchase shop window dummies,
dress them up, hire rory bremner to do voiceovers
and nobody watching would notice the difference
if there was a premier league of soaps eastenders
would in the relegation zone

I think it was a bit weird how the Ferreira kids were so concerned with seeing their mother then as soon as Ronny was in hospitlal, she too was nowhere to be found, she had done a Dan Ferreira and disappeared off the face of the earth. Is it a coincidence that they have both disappeared at the same time? Have they gone to an Elvis convention? Or has Ash or Adi mysteriously murdered them both? We will never know!

I bet if their mothereventually re-surfaces she will be all like: Hey man, whats the big deal, I only went on holiday without telling any of my family!
