Phone: Nokia 6310i.
I was turning off my phone the other day with the point of a biro & the on/off button fell into the phone.
Then somebody came along and removed the battery & then reinserted it.
My mobile is now dead.
I tried recharging it & pressing the red & green buttons for a few seconds but that didn't work.
Is there any way I can get my phone to turn on again?

It's going to need a repair by the sound.
Couple of things though - don't use pens to turn your phone off, you would have put about 2-3 KG of pressure on that button and it's not designed to take it.
I had a phone yonks ago (the same as yours as a matter of fact, but not the 'i' version) with the on'off button missing, but looking into the hole where it used to be I could see a couple of metal contacts. i just used to short these together with a paperclip, just for a couple of weeks, then I slung it and bought another phone.

And why would 'someone' come along, remove your phone's battery and then re-insert it? I've had a mobile for anout 15 years and no-one's ever done that. Perhaps it was the only way you could think of to turn off your phone? Unfortunately, you forgot that you would need to turn it on again!

take it to your local mobile phone repair center, most towns have one... probably only cost 10-20 quid to have it fixed if its just a knacekered power button.
