try and locate your nearest nokia approved repair center, I hade an N95 that speaker blew up (twice) and both times I took it in to local store in Newcastle, went for a bite to eat and a drink, went back and it was fixed.
If you send it via your network it can take 7 days to turn it around, drop it in nokia center and its usually <1 hour and is covered by same warranty etc, usually the phone shops just send them to the nokia centers anyway! |

There's a repair centre in Bristol (Clifton, BS8) can't remember the name off the top of my head, but they gave me a brilliant service. Post ur phone to them, they sort it and send back. Posted mine on a Mon and I had it back the same week on the Wednesday.
I phoned them first to explain the problem, guy I spoke to was very knowledgable, told me the problem could be fixed - and it was. |

When I sent a phone to Nokia, it took a week including time in transit.
