Interesting - I just do not get all the Ricky bashing.
People sure do not like anyone who is good do they.
I absolutly love Ricky and Natalie and I think he is a really nice lad as well. He is just using the SCD publicity machine which most celebs in each series do if they have any sense to bring themselves to the public attention.
We do like him being good - he is good at dancing. When he opens his mouth he is boring. We sincerely wish he would do what he is good at : shut up and dance.

I don't get it either. Some people are more reserved, and others are naturally loud and talkative. The louder ones tend to perform for the cameras. Personally, I find people like Alesha and "Tuffers" quite annoying.

Well, I know we can only judge the celebs on what we see, but calling Ricky "boring" and "a bit thick" (as people have on here) is a bit unfair IMO.

Not sure if what I read so far in this thread consistuted bashing?
Criticisms, no doubt, subjective observation to be sure. But bashing?
I have yet to see the ITT in the iplayer, but I am sure lots of people saying Ricky W' s smug could be due to the fact that he's more confident this time, because it is public knowledge that he had four or five salsa lessons with Dale Benett with his girl a few years ago. So maybe, just maybe his confidence in the way he went about saying things in the training footage put people off a bit...
I must go watch the ITT as soon as I have the time.
