One more confession for me.....

I reckon I've watched Rachel & Vincent's Tango and Argentine Tango about 300 times each on YouTube

I can even remember the faces of the audience members in the front row now.

Okay, are you watching more of Rachel or Vincent in your 300+ viewing of the clips?

They always danced in perfect unison and I appreciated them as such

I watched Louisa and Vincent's jive many times, but never close to this many times you did. It was my first season I started watching SCD, then I was really sick and was moping at home, so had a lot of time at hand. I recorded the show (then I still had the tv licence) and kept watching Louisa and Vincent jumping up and down like two rabbits. So cute.

Snap!

That's the dance that got me hooked to the show.

Must have watched it about 450 times

And now they've removed it from YouTube

Hello all - I'm - well call me just Tug (pulls headscarf closer over face).

My confession is the same as this one of Sid's.

gulp

But I've one more thing to add.

I watched Rachel and Vincent's Samba more than these dances.

And in that dance - I never looked at Rachel at al!

I can't believe I've just confessed to that.

*knock knock* on the Green Door

*peephole opens*

"Joe sent me," throatily whispered.

Actually, I lied - it's because of Ramps - he is the reason I'm here.

Ever since I saw him Salsa for the first time, I've been hooked.
*Singing* HOT HOT HOT

I can never look at another Salsa again without Mark....what am I going to do on Saturday?

So glad there are people right here
Who can lend a listening ear
I'm addicted to rhyme
Strictly metered in time
Quite why I'm obsessed is not clear

Thoughts of strictly continue to tumble
In rhyme though not in a tumble
We have another thread
For the ideas in our heads
To confess it avoids being rumbled

So I stray to you for some further advice
How do I get rid of this vice
Appertains only to dance
A boil to be lanced
To relax from the rhyme would be nice !

Confession - Actually love it , its a laugh , but why only with all things Strictly ! Also very very relieved to find another thread to read where I might fit in with my little secret !!!

I laughed at Aliona almost falling down the stairs

I have to work tonight, not sure how I'll cope knowing SCD is on the tv and I'm not in front of it!!

My name is ABBa and I am a SCD addict
I have to confess that at 6;45 on a Saturday I get my visiting Mums coat and put it on her and shuffle her out the door and make sure she is well and truely gone by 6:50 .
Otherwise I get comments and moans throughout the show and NO One but me is allowed make comments or remarks about any aspect of the show .
I can whinge and moan and make disparaging remarks about the ugly dresses or the weird faces , but How very dare anyone else dissrespect MY Show .

I've liked the majority of the dresses this year.

Does this mean I'm getting better or worse?

You need to join us on 'Gorgeous Mark Ramprakash'. That's the best therapy for a closet Rampant.

Actually, when I say on GMR, I mean the thread. Not Ramps himself.

I hate watching it with my Mum, she gets all millitant if we don't vote for the couple that she likes, and we rarely support the same couple each year! Good job I don't live with her anymore.

Mum's lost interest this year though, so all I get is her moaning about how she's not interested and she doesn't care

I can't shake that feeling of depression and slight panic when I wake up on Sunday and realise there will be no Strictly on TV until 6.30 on Monday.

I also spend ages thinking about how I would adapt my favourite dresses into a wedding dress when I'm not even engaged (current fave is Lisa's black and white Viennese waltz dress from last year, in case you're wondering).

Please help!”

Hi Ruby!

I had the same problem with Karen's VW dress, so I'd say the costumes for the VW are definitely a weakness for people like us and we need to make more people aware.

Suffering from the lack of Strictly on a Sunday is now a recognised symptom. However, this is a recent development that only became obvious when, after Series 5 & 6 when we had Strictly seven days a week, the Sunday show disappeared. There was no consultation on the introduction of this change, so scientists where caught out and are desperately searching for a cure. At the moment they suggest watching recordings of the current series of Dancing with the Stars on a Sunday, which helps some but not others.

On a positive note, at least you can shuffle your Mum out of the door. My Mum lives 350 miles away and was visiting me the weekend of the first live shows, so I couldn't shuffle her out of the door and my respect for my elders meant I had to put up with her rattling away about anything but Strictly during the show - there is always someone worse off than you.

Can't believe it took me so long to post here

I am able to quote nearly all scores, individual aswell since series 1. Although that might not be such a sad gift on here in comparison with real life

probably my claim to fame is staying up til about 6 in the morning last year posting the three and a half hour final on YouTube...I was a little obsessed

Thank you so much....is the necessary treatment/medication available?
Going 'cold turkey' this evening was not a pretty sight.
