I also spend ages thinking about how I would adapt my favourite dresses into a wedding dress when I'm not even engaged
(current fave is Lisa's black and white Viennese waltz dress from last year, in case you're wondering).
Please help!”
Hi Ruby!
I had the same problem with Karen's VW dress, so I'd say the costumes for the VW are definitely a weakness for people like us and we need to make more people aware.
Suffering from the lack of Strictly on a Sunday is now a recognised symptom. However, this is a recent development that only became obvious when, after Series 5 & 6 when we had Strictly seven days a week, the Sunday show disappeared. There was no consultation on the introduction of this change, so scientists where caught out and are desperately searching for a cure. At the moment they suggest watching recordings of the current series of Dancing with the Stars on a Sunday, which helps some but not others.

I have to confess that at 6;45 on a Saturday I get my visiting Mums coat and put it on her and shuffle her out the door and make sure she is well and truely gone by 6:50 .
Otherwise I get comments and moans throughout the show and NO One but me is allowed make comments or remarks about any aspect of the show .
I can whinge and moan and make disparaging remarks about the ugly dresses or the weird faces , but How very dare anyone else dissrespect MY Show .

On a positive note, at least you can shuffle your Mum out of the door. My Mum lives 350 miles away and was visiting me the weekend of the first live shows, so I couldn't shuffle her out of the door and my respect for my elders meant I had to put up with her rattling away about anything but Strictly during the show - there is always someone worse off than you.
