Anyone else see them at the Hammersmith Apollo on their 35 year reunion gigs? They were brilliant. Added Bonus was the support band on the final night being Joe Elliott (of Def Leppard) backed by the Quireboys, covering later Mott material (when they were called Mott after Ian Hunter and Mick Ralphs left).
Anyone who remembers them from the 70s will remember their backing vocalists, the Thunderthighs. At the gig, backing vocals were supplied by Ian Hunter's son and daughter, Mick Ralph's son, the late Mick Ronson's daughter and the original M-t-H lead singer that Ian Hunter replaced. Keeps it all in the family!
