Good evening to you all.

Just to let you all know that i have purchased the Motorola V600 for £69.00 on O2 Online.

Damn good price for this phone i thought. It is £69 whatever tariff you choose to take out.

I don't know too much about this phone, other than you can type in a number press a button and then talk to someone. It looks nice though.

Anyone who has this.........any views ?

I'm new to this forum, so gently does it please.

Good choice James, the V600 is a very good phone!

I've been using it for about a month now & really like it.

The RF on the phone is great, so you get really good sound quality on calls. Also, the MP3 ringtones sound really cool too.

Most other features on the phone are good as well... The only problems I've had with the phone is the fact that the sms entry isn't as intuitive (or fast) as either SE or Nokia, while, unless you upgrade the firmware, you can only store sms messages on the sim.

Enjoy, I'm sure you'll like it!

Ive just managed to haggle with Singlepoint and got a v600 for 50 quid with the bluetooth headset and the accessories when they come into stock and thats on the 15.99 a month package with 600 mins and 250 texts!

Im pretty pleased with that, especially after reading the comments on here!

does the V600 have speed dial?

Sure does! It also came with a bluetooth handsfree set!

So far no major problems with it except that it will not store any more than 15 texts in the inbox!

A highly recommended phone!

Thanks Steve, I'm certainly going to get one, i have a Nokia 7250 which has not got bluetooth or voice dialling, not a brilliant phone, picture quality leaves alot to be desired, also tried out a Panasonic X70, sent it back, the picture quality, text messaging & using bluetooth wasn't easy

I'm waiting for my 12 month contract to finish then I'm going to get one of these V600 phones. I've been looking around for the best deal and you can get it free on O2 here [url]http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/ select the network on right hand side, then select the model. You get the bluetooth headset and car kit free, and £40 cash back!

You may also like to know that with this phone when linked to a PC you can down load ringtone files to the phone (unlike some other phone which blocks any file transfers).

Also if you go to any of the different ringtone WEB sites where by pressing on a link you can hear the tone. By right clicking the link that file can be saved to your PC. Or just transfer any midi, mp3, etc. files you happen to have. The phone does have a 4 meg limit.

Transfer can be by a USB cable or via bluetooth
