Corned beef
The corned beef sandwich thread seems to show that corned beef is the bovine equivalent of Marmite - people either love it or hate it.
Personally, I quite like corned beef. You can't beat a nice corned beef hash. |

I quite like it, but haven't had it for ages. I was put off it when I was younger as my dad was in hospital for a while, so my grandma came to look after us and made us corned beef sandwiches EVERY day!

I like it. I had some recently. We had a big tin so I made corned beef pasties, a corned beef pie (just different pastry really) and a corned beef hash.
Bit of an overkill having it 3 days running but it's probably it til christmas. Around here corned peef pie/slice is a staple of the christmas party tables. |

Love corned beef hash with lots of tomato ketchup and maybe a fried egg. Haven't had it for years, though.

Ewughhhh. I hate hate hate corned beef.
When I was little I used to get made to eat cornbeef, cabbage and potaotes as a main meal. I used to cry through the whole meal! My OH loves it so I make it for his sandwiches but it really gives me the boak! |

I love sliced corned beef from the deli counter or the pre-packed sliced stuff. I have it regularly. Not so keen on the tinned stuff.

It's not the fact it's from a tin that I dislike, it's that the meat is chunky when it's tinned. Just tastes nicer when it's thinly sliced - as does all meat imo.

Never put it in a toastie
Tried that once and all the fat comes oozing out the back of the machine and onto the worktops.I like mine sliced with beans and mashed potatoes (with a dab of butter on top). |
