I cannot see how one minute Big Deal is confirmed by its presenters to be closing, then the next it isn't. How is dropping two hours of airtime and starting later going to help them? I agree with what Johnr has said, I can see it being axed very quickly after the change.

Typical Cellcast, they tell their presenters that a channel is closing, only to change their mind a few days later. It's not professional and doesn't give the quiz brand any value.

Still who cares as long as they're raking in the money from Babestation and Party Girls.

Big Deal are changing their broadcasting hours, they are not going off the air (yet!)

From Friday Big Deal starts at Midnight, not 10pm.

I think this could be to make way for TMTV, Tease Me TV on channel 98, unless of course channel 89 is coming on (News) - haven't got a clue at this stage what the News channel is all about on 89

If this is the case, will CNN extend it's broadcasting hours by half an hour from 0000hrs to 0030hrs?

Midnight to 5am is a long shift for one presenter who is continually on air. I guess it's a compromise shift. The idea being to save costs and the one lost presenter fee must be fairly worth saving.

Square 1 have already paid for a 10pm-5am slot. So your idea would leave half an hour blank.
