Rumours, rumours, rumours. Keisha doesn't know what's happening herself, at least according to Twitter, but here's the issue and the three scenarios:

What do the Sugababes do about "Get Sexy"?

Do they:

1) Re-record the track with Jade? From a business perspective, this is a bad investment, because the song has already been used as a single and has no shelf-life left in the UK, except as a possible draw to the album. Traditionally, you don't record (or in this case, re-record) expensive songs just for it to become an album track. Additionally, the song is hard to re-record because Keisha sings on four different vocal tracks (her bits, the chorus, in the background, and the echo-y bits). Given they struggled and failed to completely remove her from About A Girl, Get Sexy would be impossible.

2) Drop it from the album? This is a bad business decision because the whole point of a single is to promote the album its attached to. Quite often, given the resources that go into promoting singles, singles don't break even, and costs are recuperated from album sales. If they're not, then the artist is losing the label money, which would be the case if this option is chosen.

3) Keep it as it (the album version) and give Keisha a "featuring" credit? This makes logical sense creatively, but is an absolute nightmare in terms of PR, and the girls' management are already trying their hardest to convince fans to support the girls (i.e. by sending emails out quite literally begging us to stick around).

There isn't really a right answer, all three are bad, in-terms of business and credibility. Now let's say you're Mark Hargreaves (the girls' manager) - what do you do? What option do you pick?

Feel free to invent your own solutions, but it'd be cool if people actually have a think about it!

In all honesty I think Sweet 7 should have been delayed and new tracks recorded. Retitled and Rebranded.

Heidi . Amelle and Jade can make a wicked band but I think the SUgababes brand will drag them down

I saw this tonight. Katy Brand never makes me laugh but this did and then reading the comments people say it was months ago! Katy Brand is the new Derren Brown!

Good idea, possibly as a UK bonus track.

Apparently its been dropped hasn't it? we know five new tracks were recorded for the album as they have had to remove some songs apparently as Keisha helped co write with Heidi, so we will probably never get to hear those tracks unless they both agree to let themselves or someone else use them. But Heidi confirmed they recorded new material with Jade.

There has been discussion about how muh writing they did. Lyrics mainly. I would have just changed the words to Keisha's lyrics!

^ I hope that tracklisting's correct. I'd be gutted if Thank You For The Hearbreak, or to a lesser extent Get Sexy, were dropped from the album.

Also I wish all the songs with Keisha's vocals were released somewhere, although it obviously won't happen.
