You know, just a few days ago I used the very same word to describe Sid. I feel as though I've been corrupted.

I'm not sure how to take this!

I'm definitely a Ballroom girl. The only Ballroom dance I don't enjoy is the Tango (there are a few exceptions, but only a few.)

I don't really enjoy the Samba, Salsa or Paso in the Latin but LOVE the Rumba and Cha Cha.

This is all subject to the routine of course!

Go Chris and Ola and Lynda and Darren! And Zoe and James! And Jade and Ian! And Ali and Brian (mainly for Brian)!

I completely agree with you. When the celebs get those dances right it is just magical (especially Tom last year).

Not looking forward to seeing Joe tonight although I don't think for one minute he will be in the dance-off as yet again Kristina is managing to stay in the competition longer than her partners deserves imo. Would be v. interested to see her partnered with a decent celeb next season to see how good she is.

2 hours to go .

Do we know anything about this "spectacular showdance" that they've mentioned on their twitter regarding tonight's show?

The choices of music for the Samba seemed much better this week (judging from ITT) - tracks by Gloria Estefan, Frank Sinatra and a more Latin version of Madonna's Isla Bonita - all guaranteed to help the booty shake!

Looking forward to seeing Jade (in that firey orange dress), as well as Natalie and Ali. Natalie may be a little bundle of nerves, but she gives all her showmanship to her dances.

The foxtrots are going to be more challenging this week, I think, again going by the training footage.

Think Craig (Corrie) and Lynda Bellingham may well be in the dance off. We shall see.

Wasn't there something on ITT the other day about a Hollywood themed dance, or am I imagining that?

...or it may have been a short video on the bbc website?

That was on one of the strictly confidential videos on the BBC website. Matt mentioned something to do with a film/hollywood themed routine. I'd forgotten about that until then .

I really hope that is the showdance they were talking about, I would love a whole dance of true classic well-known film theme songs as they float around in their amazing ballroom dresses and tail suits - NO latin allowed .

hello
I've been working all day for my new course, just noticed that Hole in the Wall is on, so need to get my dinner ready to sit down and relax for SCD. I feel I've deserved it after today!

Not long now .

Which couple will wow us this evening?
Which couple will make us wish we used their routine as a toilet break?
Which Brucie comment will leave us feeling embarassed for the old man?
Which Disney Villian will inspire Tess' wardrobe choice this evening?

So many questions to answer, over such a long period of time .
