Me too, I thought she looked a bit upset. Just before she went out to dance too.

Depends on the standard of the dancers. If similar standard then he will take into account the 'challenge' of having to lead. If the woman's dance is better then the lead factor will not count for as much

Does anyone remember the comments Len made to Darren and Lynda ?

I wondered at first if he was describing the dance or Darren`s hair

I was out last night and have only had a chance to watch the performance and the end result so far.

Laila & Anton - Deserved to be top of the leader board as I thought it was easily the best FT of the night.

Natalie & Vincent - Did the best Salsa for me and she kept the energy and movement going all the way through!

Chris & Ola - My heart went out to Chris who tried really hard and did quite well I thought, especially looking at later scores - they were a touch under marked for me. I'm still a Cola!

Jade & Ian - Best Salsa dress of the night and I loved their performance!

Ali & Brian - Fabulous choreography and I didn't see any mistakes, but I was completely underwhelmed for some reason. Her dress was boring and there was no sparkle or party atmosphere - this was the performance I was looking forward to the most too last night.

Jo & Brendan - I still think she is sweet and she gets around the floor, but it couldn't have been much slower.

Phil & Katya - He did well after his op, but wouldn't have got away with it otherwise - cheeky in more way than one.

Craig & Flavia - I now think that the light bulb is just not going to switch on for poor Craig.

Ricky G & Erin - His shoulder were dreadful all through training and last night. If he could just relax into the dance he'd be great.

Zoe & James - Beautifully danced, but like with Ali and Brian I was completely underwhelmed for some reason.

Joe & Kristina - Just dreadful for week 4 - like a week 1 performance, although I did wonder if we would have seen more of an improvement by now if Kristina had been as hard on him in training from the beginning as she was this week. They need to be going home.

Ricky W & Natalie - I have no time for celebs who blame their performance on the lack of training because of their other work commitments, especially when in this series you've got Chris getting up at 4.30 am every day.

Lynda & Darren - I really like her, but like Jo & Brendan, it couldn't have been much slower. Lynda was better technically though and performed the dance much better than Jo though.

I though the judges' scoring was a bit weird again last night too.

Which one?

If that was a coffee it'd be a latte, smooth and creamy

Laila - fluent, stylish, correct

Natalie Cassidy - energetic, sassy, bold

Chris the Sport - good try, not memorable, too much gurning, not bad by any means

Jade LongLegs - good outfit, good routine

Ali - great energy, vivacity, good feet but she's still lacklustre for me

Jo (GoJOnotalLOTTAmoJO) - nice woman, caring woman, loved by Brendan obviously, not a natural dancer

Phil the Cockernee sparrer - not bad for a cr!pple, not bad at all, you have to hand it to him!

SadCraig - bless his little cotton socks, did he pop a hankie in his pocket?

Ricky G - his neck disappeared, he thinks he's a turtle

Zoe - they was good

Joe (justGOpleaseJOE) - not even the amusing kind of bad

Ricky W - good, the boy can dance but he will still need the dreaded JOURNEY, hence the attempt to elicit sympathy

Lynda and WigMan - (Darren is well past his sell-by no?) good effort, I would have refused to go on in that travesty of a costume

Len has a scoring range from 6 to 9 (or is it 5 to 9?).
3 or 4 points cannot properly be said to describe the range abilities and performances from Saggy to INSERT ANY NAME HERE.
So the scoring is going to be bizarre. Craig is the only one with any credibility in that respect.

Hi Buddy . I was wondering where you were last night .

I agree with you that Ali and Zoe, especailly Zoe, were very underwhelming, and the 9 for Zoe was uncalled for!

And Ricky . He can't complain, it's only week 4 and he must have known before hand that he was still going to be busy during the series so it's his own fault. As you've said if anyone can complain it's Chris, and it looks as though Craig's getting a bigger part in Corrie at the moment but he's not even mentioned it once.

It was so funny as we went for a birthday meal with friends which was delicious and then all agreed at about 10.00 pm that we'd go back to our house to watch Strictly! By midnight we had seen all the performances, but were all too tired to watch much more (my husband had been up since 6.00am), so we FF'd to the result and agreed we'd watch the rest today in our own homes!

I didn't realise Craig was still in Corrie (I don't watch it), but even Lynda said they missed some training time because her and Darren were busy, but they still got on with it without any fuss.

Sounds like you had a great evening then, and with a bit of late night strictly to top it all off . The filler bit wasn't too amazing in the end last night anyway IMO: the pro dance was okay but I prefer when it's just the strictly pros without added "extras", the guest singer wasn't the best ever to put it lightly and the VT about 10s ! It's Week 4, they've still got another 10 weeks to get one, no need to rush it!

Watched the rest tonight - not particularly impressed by the singer or the tap dancers, but loved the pros dancing as usual - but what on earth was Aliona wearing when she danced with Matt?

It takes timing to either hit a ball or bowl one so it won't be hit easily. My brother reckons that Strictly improved Ramps's cricket as it improved his timing so I guess it works in reverse too.

Was it just my imagination or did anyone else hear someone's loud cheer in the background when Bruce announced that Jo and Brendan were safe?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but thought I would mention it as it just felt so out of place..
