I know people vote for different reasons, not all dance related but I'm lost as to what Joe brings to the competition. John had lots of charm and personality, as far as i can see Joe has neither of these and to add to that he can't dance, what's to like?
Also I think Kristina was much happier with John, he brought her personality out far more that Joe is doing

i realy don't want to be blamed for name dropping or anything like that but in all fairness to Joe he is trying and it is not his fault he is still their.

i have also met a couple of muppets on scd as well and to look at them butter wouldn't melt in their mouths.”

Oh well, as long as he is trying then that's alright. I'm sure he's a lovely man and the others are "muppets" but Joe's not in the least bit entertaining, he has little or no on-camera charm or presence and he has as much rhythm as a dancing statue. He's as bad as Sargeant and gets nowhere near the same vitriol from the judges - probably because he's an ex-boxer. Pathetic. Has he done a salsa yet because if not I expect a new low in cringeworthy embarrassment...

Maybe the judges learnt their lesson last year - if they really lay into someone who is popular with the phone punters then the punters will carry on voting to stick two fingers up to the judges.

If the judges are fair are reasonable - which they've been with Joe C so far - then his supporters are far more likely to stop voting for him when the going gets serious. (Or maybe not - it's a free world, after all, other than the cost of the call - but the judges shot themselves in the foot last with with JS.)

The new scoring system doesn't help get rid of Joe, either. With so many ties on the judges' scored, the spread of points from positions on the leader board was from 13 to 6 last night, so it's much easier for the popular plodders (i.e. the 2 Jo(e)s) to escape the DO when the 13 to 1 spread of points from the phone vote is added.
