Easy to make sweet and sour sauce?
I really like sweet and sour stuff but usually just use a jar of Uncle Ben's or something like that. It is really nice, but it is full of salt and I thought I'd like to try and make my own, but all the recipe's I've found seem a bit complicated. I was wondering if anyone had a really simple recipe for it, thought this would be a good place to ask!

It depends on what you call complicated, I usually stew up some wine vinegar, honey, tomato ketchup, soy sauce and a bit of chicken stock all thickened with some slaked cornflour, I taste a lot as I go along adjusting the balance until it seems about right. Personally I add a dash of tabasco too but it's more hot and sour then rather sweet and sour. You can also add the juice from pineapple chunks rather than honey or some sliced stem ginger and its syrup for a bit more of a bite.
