What did Bruno say that made Tess apologise?

I thought he was going to say Alesha liked some ass, but stopped himself just in time.

He said arse (instead on bum). BBC having to be ultra cautious at the moment.

He used the word, "Ar*e" instead of saying bottom. It was so quick you could easily have missed it.

I think most people did miss it! If Tess hadn't mentioned it, they might have got away with that one

Dont worry I am sure the Daily Mail picked up on it and will mention it on Monday, by Tuesday a million people who never heard it will have complained to Ofcom about how traumatised they are and how it has casued their child to take to drugs or get pregnant , and and by Frdiay there will be questions in Parliament about why Bruno has not been publicly flogged .

The poor bloke was in tears!!.... i thought the whole thing about being on the stage and performing was to be sure of yourself and confident!... if you wern't that type of person you would never get on in that sort of career!...

I would guess that she quite clearly heard it, and at that point (being a live programme) would have been unaware that the broadcast feed had not picked it up. So she reacted quite correctly by offering a quick apology.

He said "ass" (not arse!). Didn't even notice it first time around (only when Tess apologised for it - that, and Jo saying "bloody"). Jeez, the BBC are getting really strict on inoffensive words!!

Very true, but you missed the 3000 odd posts on here decrying Bruno because they were so deeply offended and demanding the BBC sack him!!

You might not find anything wrong with the term, many others won't either. But many others do, and many are too eager to jump on any programme or presenter where it is uttered.

Regardless of that, I offered a reasonable explanation as to why Tess quickly apologised on a live programme ........

yes fair enough , as to why Tess apologised . I can see what you are saying
I simply dont get the need , but as you say maybe others might .
Personally I found Bruces commnet to Jo about loosing a stone ( Stone ) far far far more offensive and stupid

Ah but that wasn't the BBC, so immediately the Daily Mail have lost interest.
