I noticed it and was gobsmacked by it at the time.Whoever was responsible for that 'joke' was guilty of very poor taste. I don't know whether Bruce writes that stuff or not. Perhaps he should have refused to read it.

Unbelievable, wasn't it? What were they thinking? Mind you, I had forgotten it until now. Mercifully. Perhaps we should just ignore all this stuff for the sake of our health and sanity. Otherwise it spoils what is for the most part a really entertaining 'Saturday night show', like the old days.
