I agree I remember when people commented on the couples at the start that the Craig/Flavia paring just mind end up not being very interesting as they seem to be both quiet/reserved people in contrast with the Vincent/Natalie pairing where they both flirt with each other and seem to be having a good time. It's telling that very often successful partnerships on SCD consist of at least one exhuberant individual to bring out the personality of the quieter one. I thought he'd be a better dancer because he wasn't someone you'd think of being rubbish but he obviously isn't. I'm not sure the fault is with her as a teacher as all the V/F fans who have been to their sessions say they are both very good teachers. I wonder if the faults have been that Flavia was so determined not to get knocked out first this year she may things a bit hard for Craig at first and he's lost confidence as a result. However he claimed he was happy doing the jive and foxtrot and they weren't very good.

They are two similar dullish personalities who have been put together.

With different partners it may have been a completely different story - put dull Craig with a livewire partner like Lilia (or in the past Karen/ Camilla) who ALWAYS gets the best out of her celebs no matter how bad they might be, and he may have lit up the ballroom....

Flavia always comes across as a bit intense in her interviews, and apart from her partnership with Matt (for obvious reasons!) has never done well in the competition with early baths in every series apart from his. She might have done well with one of the livelier celebs (like Tuffers or Chris?).

I'm sure they are both nice, kind and well meaning people in real life - but on SCD they are the Meh! partnership this year.

Do you think that if Craig can mantain the public support to keep him in till Blackpool then his confidence will grow?

I think there is a 30+ dance inside Craig and I honestly think if he can just get his confidence up then He is as good as the chasing pack behind Ali & Ricky,I seen nothing in the rest of them that makes me think they are that much better than Craig

Craig doesn't get the public vote because he can't dance, is not good looking, and perhaps,like me,a lot of viewers had never heard of him before SCD started.

When the series first started, I thought he's very nervous, give him the benefit of the doubt..... but if anything he has gone downhill.

If he is in the bottom 2 again this week, I don't think he will be saved as everyone else - including Jo - is better than him. The only exception might be Leila as she has got to teach Anton the samba!!!!!!!!!

I see Ricky Groves as very hot and cold and don't think its impossible to see Craig ahead of him

Craig's only hope imo is if he gets on top of the nerves that have beset him since the start. The trouble is, they look like they're getting worse rather than better...I can't see him surviving much longer tbh.

He's rubbish. And, frankly I dont think he is a better dancer than Jo or Joe. They both improved where as Craig is still stinking up the dancefloor

That is very harsh and unnecessary criticism of Craig. People like Craig, Phil, Cris etc are what SCD is all about. Ordinary people who've never danced before trying to learn and master Ballroom and Latin. It's a bonus when you get exceptional people like Ricky and Ali to whom dancing comes naturally.

Chris and Phil are decent dancers. I wouldnt mention them in the same sentence as Craig. His hold is shocking. It seems to be indredibly wide and dont forget he's dancing with five foot nothing Flavia; so why his hold is so wide is beyond me. His foot work is incredibly pedestrian. He's looking at Flavia while he's dacning and not looking over her shoulder. Its just plain bad. Where as Phil and Chris look quite comfortable in hold and have relatively good footwork.

Have to agree with you there. Phill is a good dancer just think he needs to put a bit more effort in. Chris is a really good dancer but he does have trouble remembering the steps which is a shame really.

Sorry he would not as he just cannot dance and he looks flat footed and very akward to watch. Not saying he is not a nice guy though!!
