Thought I had misread the OP - I think Ian comes across as camp as a row of tents and therefore not hot at all!!!

Ian Waite loves himself with a passion that would shame Narcissus. He's a vainglorious buffoon who deserves to remain in a small room with just himself for company.

I love Ian but his red trousers were awful and when he was on the athletic track he looked a complete nonse! Still love him though.

Coloured trousers for the boys should be banned!

I've seen no evidence of that at all.

Any examples or is this just your opinion? And thank you but my sight is perfectly adequate.

He knew he looked good too, and he was on a high because of it. I haven't seen him quite so extrovert before, he's usually so quiet and calm and understated.

Tonight, he rocked! Yum Yum!

I'm also not surprised he was disappointed with the marks, given how the judges raved about the routine. Maybe it's just the costumes they enjoyed, but heck they did look great and as far as I'm concerned that's all part of it.

Ian should do a calendar and wear that outfit for December ”

Much as I like Ian, I do think that those trousers were a bit of a fashion faux pas.

I don't think they were meant to be taken seriously.

As a couple, Jade & Ian have personality & pizazz by the bucket load - all the more so compared with just about every other couple who represent serious competition, apart from maybe Tuffers.

I reckon Ian's clocked that, and is going for broke!

Well, I certainly didn't. Some people have no sense of humour!

The question is........would you still fancy him in those trousers?

No. No. No.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

No man, straight or gay, except Santa Claus, should be wearing red trousers on a live show. They just look so tacky!

If it's red shirt and black trousers, I would have forgiven Ian, but the other way round? What was HE thinking, seeing gay men are supposed to be more savvy fashion wise???

Maybe we should applaud him for being brave enough to challenge the stereotype?

I totally agree, if anyone read his twitter on his track outfit, he was laughing too. Ian has an amazing sense of humour and it certainly shows that he is having loads of fun this series!

I agree with Xassy, no evidence. Alesha loved their costumes also. It was the Salsa after all, in keeping with the dance. You need to take it in the manner it is mean't - FUN! Maybe you should try the small room

Did NOT like the trousers AT ALL though.

He could have kept the same colours in reverse...that would have been better but then only he could get away with it.

Haha - the thing is I would regard the trousers as a problem to be overcome, or, dare I say, REMOVED....

I loved those trousers myself Yes they were terrible but they reminded me of the God-awful bottle green high-waisters I thought I looked dead cool in circa 1975

This week I challenge Ian to wear a stripey tank top to complete the look
