who did you want?
why did len vote for craig?
is there an agenda..? or was linda worse?
was it her dress' fault?

I wanted the pair of them sent home.
Craig will be bottom 2 again next week if he doesn't come out and perform, and relax his face a bit. They pull others up about their expressions, as an actor he shouldn't look so frightened

I must admit I fully expected Len to save Lynda - so a huge shock to see Craig saved !

It was tough. Lynda tried so hard.
So did Craig but I can't watch him properly because he makes me feel such a voyeur witnessing his pain! But I think he tried hard.

I thought they'd save Lynda. But it's no big deal. I think it would have been kinder to eliminate Craig. On dance merit there's little difference. Oh, and I pity poor Flavia too. Looks as if she's suffering plenty as well....

I expected Linda and her dancing partner to be voted off last night.

I think the judges were right to say it was very tricky.

Lynda was slightly better. At least she didn't have that dreadful hold (why the hell hasn't Craig learnt that yet?! At very least he needs to get his elbows in the right position!), but I think they believed Craig is more likely to improve.

The emphasis in Len and Bruno's decision seemed to be on the basis of it being harder for the man as he has to lead. I thought Lynda performed her dance much better than Craig performed his, and that she also performed better second time than first time whereas with Craig I saw no significant difference, for example as has been said the elbow Len pointed out was not corrected. This is not a Craig-bashing observation BTW. I get the sense that dancing does not come naturally to Craig, he seems so wrapped up in trying to get the steps right that he is not (yet) addressing the issues with hold, posture and expression. Hopefully he will get there.

I wouldn't have been surprised either way, but I think I would have sent home Lynda, too. I don't think she had as much potential. I don't think Craig is improving, nor does it look likely that he will improve, but I still get the feeling that he could improve that I didn't get from Lynda at all.

Problem is that they have always said that the performance on the night is and should be the decider, but they have not always stuck to that.

Personally I think it's a shame that Linda has gone. It's all about the mix of people, and I certainly don't think she was worse than Craig. Having said all that, it's Joe who should really have gone. He can't dance at all and looks completely out of place on the dancefloor, but here we go again, people voting to keep him in. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for the judges to start remarking because people have been thrown out because the public have voted for the "jo's"

I was a little surprised that Craig was saved but I can see where Len and Bruno are coming from.
However, ......... what really annoyed me about Craig tonight was that even though Len specifically told him to keep his right arm in position - he DIDN'T!!!!!

I don't really think last night's dance off made much difference, Lynda last night - Craig next week. Of course Jo and Joe should have been fighting it out to stay in the contest - but the public like them and the public pay for the phone calls. C'est la vie.

Unlike some I respected Lynda as an actress and her appearance on Strictly proved her to be a gracious and classy lady. No embarrassment a la Colleen Nolan and the daily pleading for votes.

To be fair to Jo and Joe, they did both show improvement this week, and may have picked up votes for that as well.

It was close but i did think Lynda would be saved.

But she would have been there again probably next week as Craig probably will.

At least Lynda went out on a high with their Foxtrot, it looked like they really enjoyed their final dance as if they knew they were going .

and I loved her dress .

Your post made me laugh!

I'm surprise but happy Craig was saved, thought he would be going home. Each week I pray for some improvement in his dances and each week i'm

I didn't agree with the result but I wasn't surprised with it. I always notice Len's body language when Bruce says that if it's a tie then he will have the casting vote. If Craig, Bruno and Alesha choose to save one couple over the other then he's kind of fine and matter of fact about it even if he would have chosen to save the other couple. But his body language was different last night (as it was when Martina and Matt went), that told the public that he was going to be able to actually USE his casting vote to influence who was actually going through. It happened last year too when he chose to save Dom and Lilia over Phil and Flavia. Therefore, I wasn't surprised after Craig and Alesha had given their opinions that when Bruno had also given his 'differing' opinion, that Len had also chosen to 'side' with Bruno.

I thought Craig did improve by at least 30% in the dance-off. He corrected the "looking down" that was mentioned after his first attempt and the routine looked far more relaxed. I liked Lynda's personality, but purely on technique, I thought Craig edged it.

I didn't mind who was voted off as I thought both couples were equally awful. I thought they were extremely lucky to be awarded the same score as Tuffers and was surprised that their scores were that much higher than Jo & Joe(who were, of course, also awful)!

Thank you Buddy (and Sid) - mwaah, mwaah to you both.

Oz was great; it was springtime in Queensland and the sort of weather we pray for in the summer time. It is currently the whale breaching season and watching them rise from the water was quite incredible - almost spiritual. I really could wax lyrical.

Seems the nastiness and nitpicking has started early this year. If what I've seen so far is a sign of things to come, I can see me putting one or two on ignore, and rationing my visits to the forum.
