I wonder if BB5 will be cutting the sound and pictures out as much as in previous years? Last year seemed the worst ever. Yes of course I understand why it has to be cut sometimes, but nothing like to the extent it is. The way they do it surely can't help, with someone filling out a slip of paper with the time from and to, plus reason for cutting. I know for a fact that there are better ways, as used in other shows.

I think that Back to Reality are far better with this. They barely ever stop us seeing the pictures, and the sound isn't cut that much, and when it is, it's normally for a few offending words rather than for several minutes at a time like with BB. With BB last year I couldn't bare to watch the live feeds after a few minutes of trying, but with BTR it's still quite watchable because they're doing a far better job of it.

I've written to Channel 4 about this during BB when it's on but of course they don't reply or seem to take any notice. If there was a real reason to cut it so much then that's fair enough and we'd have to put up with it, but there simply isn't a reason half the time. Why do they do it? What are they acheiving? Are they maybe just being over-sensative? Maybe it's something to do with the boss of that department (showed on BBLB last year) who's obviously very full of himself and power-hungry?
