I don't get this iPlayer thing.

A PVR is just a computer, right? With a tuner card and an AV interface that limits its functionality.

Computers have been able to access iPlayer equivalents for ages.

The current batch of PVRs will access iPlayer via the internet, just like any other computer.

There is already a box that accesses iPlayer on sale from John Lewis.

So what is the big deal?
