I would just like to say how much I enjoyed the two pro dances yesterday. My eyes were drawn to one dancer who, in my book, is absolutely fantastic. He lights up the dance floor every time and my eyes are naturally drawn to him. Matthew is so charismatic and such a brilliant dancer - I think he is grrrrreat.

I'm glad you started a thread about Pro Dances because I wanted to ask the question, who choregraphs them.?I know sometimes the Professionals such Karen or Matthew take it in turns but I wondered if anyone knew who behind the scenes choreographs the fantastic dances we see week in week out?

Agree with you though, love the pro dances and the CCC was good too.

I think so far the main pro dances have been choreographed as follows:

Show One - Group ensemble - Matt and Erin
Show Two - Group ensemble (in gold before Tom and Camilla) - Brian and Kristina
Show Three - Waltz and Tango group dance - Vincent and Flavia
Show Four - Pro Paso - Brendan and Katya / Pro Quickstep - Natalie
Show Five - Foxtrot - Anton
Show Six - Hollywood number - outside choreographers

(Based upon what has been confirmed on pro websites and twitter etc.)

Then I presume the couples do their own choreography when they perform to musical guests.

i think its different pro dancers each week - it would be great to see more of the behind the scenes and training for this on ITT as well

My favourite by far has been the group ensemble Brian and Kristina choreographed. Until Tom and Camilla came on that is

I really liked the first group number and I thought Natalie's Quickstep routine was phenomenal.

Thanks for the info everyone and yes I agree I think it would be an interesting spot for ITT. My favourite Pro Dance of all time(!) was the Paso Doble I think it may have been last year, if not, definitely the year before. I believe Karen choreographed it. Absolutely fantastic.
