What else could he do? Public relations for the BNP perhaps?

Once a week, after a chippy tea. Mrs D-B calls it 'no-pyjamas night'.

Put it this way...he could really do with winning this series.

I don't fancy his chances mind you.

Hopefully, if he keeps his head down and mouth closed for a few weeks and lets his dancing do the talking he will be OK. I do hope so cos I love him to bits

I doubt he'll get Brucies SCD job now....

Not forever, but for now hes in the shit. Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand bounced back pretty quickly didnt they??

Also- I think this was Antons last Strictly ANYWAY, but I think this has doubly confirmed it...

I dont agree. I think he'll be fine. If he leaves strictly it will be his decision.

This sort of furure does not go away quietly - nor should it.

I do think that A and L's foxtrot last night was superb.

I do not, for one minute, believe in the forgive and forget, kissy, kissy PR exercise A and L presented to the public. They both have a vested interest in damage limitation. Anton can see a tv career disappearing before his very eyes and Laila is clearly looking to boost her public profile.

Good luck to them - but let's not pretend that their very public demonstrations of 'forgive and forget,' are motivated by anything other than self interest.

Seems unlikely, aren't they all English born white people?

Anton's father was Hungarian and his mother Spanish. I didn't think that the BNP liked people from "foreign" parts.

whatever is being said on the surface, I think we won't see much of Mr Du Berk after this series

thank the lord

They both like calling people "p*kis" though, they could have alot more in common than you think

I think Anton just did something really silly without thinking through the consequences.

He just made a terrible misguided mistake.

I mean, fancy agreeing to host "Hole in the Wall"

Who is the "both"?

And what evidence do you have about "both"?

You so obviously aren't an Anton fan at the best of times. He shouldn't have said it, in his words he his 'mortified'. Give him a break. Don't think it's just down to Telly with him. He feels he has let himself, his mother, his fans and his friends down. BTW his foxtrot was SUPERB with a capital S

Hopefully, yes.

The spineless BBC should have terminated his contract.

Considering how Cheryl Cole's career has flourished following a criminal charge of racially aggravated assault, I doubt whether Anton du Beke is facing any long term damage to his prospects.

.He's mortified and rightly so but he can still dance and as long as he sticks to that, and doesn't have any presenting ambitions (I've never seen, and have no desire to see Hole in the Wall), he will survive this.

He and Laila danced beautifully last night. That is what counts. He can't unsay what he said but he is paying for it and there is not much more that can be done about that. We all know now that Anton is a chav.

She doesnt work for the BBC though does she. ITV is not driven by a host of licence fee payers, whoes opinions the BBC have to take into account before they ignore them.

Had a quick scout around the Paddy Power website and his odds to be the next SCD host are 33/1.

Anyone know what they were before this all kicked off?

(Graham Norton is favourite, btw, at 13/8 followed by Paul O'Grady at about 5/1. John Barrowman is 8/1, and Philip Scofield is 10/1. There were others but I forget them...)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I'd rather Tess took over the main show than let Barrowman in!
