Checking mobile coverage
Hi all,
I moved house at the beginning of August and I fail to get a decent phone signal in my house. I'm with T-Mobile at moment, so as my contract ends in a couple of months I've decided to sign up with someone else. Now I've checked ofcom website and found the nearest phone mast to me is a vodafone and I've checked on their website and standard services is excellent and 3g and mobile broadband is very good. However when I signed up for mobile broadband with them I failed to get a signal. So as this is the closest phone masts would it be more likely that I would be able to get a better signal from Vodafone. I've checked orange in this area its good but not great and o2 seems ok, but map isn't all that clear. Any suggestions and/or advice would be grately received. |

I wouldn't rely on the maps, i'd get some free pay as you go sims and try the networks out for coverage. That way you will get a more realistic picture!

Yeah all 5 networks do free sims or get your friends round and ask them what network they are on and see what it's like at your house.
