The Curse of the Pro partner continues
Someone on here (think it may have been Quizmike
) mentioned that there seems to be a link between the pro's on who was going each week. For the first two weeks, Matthew and Lilia went. Then their professional partners departed. So will the curse continue? We may not find out until Week 7 - but it'll be interesting to keep an eye on it.

Yes! I remember the thread, and I noticed this last night. Perhaps we have found the new pink dress curse...

So who ever pro partners (bear with me with all these terms) the pro who goes out next week should go out in three weeks time, and whoever pro partners the pro whose celeb is leaving the week after the first pro will leave in four weeks.
My word! |

My word! Week 5: Craig and Flavia Week 6: Joe and Kristina Week 7: Natalie and Vincent Week 8: Ali and Brian Could it happen? ![]() Also, another possible curse developing is the Survivor's Curse. The fan base that is needed to pull people out of the mire is not developing. The vote seems set in their ways. Take a look... Week 1: Martina v Rav Week 2: Richard v Craig Week 3: Rav v Lynda Week 4: Lynda v Craig Rav was saved in week one, but went the next time he danced (week 3). Lynda was saved in week 3 but went the next time she danced (week 4). Craig was saved in week 2, and again in week 4. He's the only celebrity to be saved in a dance off remaining in the series. Could history repeat itself, as it did with Rav and Lynda, and he find himself back in the dance off next week. And if so, will he go? |

So, whoever is out next week will doom their pro partner to be expended in three weeks time. So Craig and Flavia out next week and Natalie and Vincent out in week 7? Maybe?? Obviously

It's definitely possible that Craig goes next week and Natalie in week 7.
Just who goes out in week 6/8. The remaining dancers are either good enough to stay high on the scoreboard or popular. I guess it could be Joe in 6, Ali in 8 depending how popular the latter actually is. |

Yep. To use examples - it's a distinct possibility that Craig and Flavia could go next week, and I'm guessing that patience may run out with Joe Calzaghe the week after. So...

Going on the pro partner thing the other pairing it could happen with are Jo and Brendan and Phil and Katya. Possibly more likely than Ali and Brian although Joe and Kristina may be the ones to break it!

I think Phil's quite popular though, so I don't think he'll be in the bottom two until mid November at the earliest.

Just realised this is the week where we get to find out if there really is a curse of the pro-partner.
So is there a realistic chance that Ali could go this week? I reckon if she ended up in the dance off with either Zoe or Ricky W then it could happen. |

I dont think Ali will be going home this week ......however she does have the Paso so who knows.
I COULD see this scenario. Brendan out last Saturday Vincent out this Saturday Katya out the following Saturday (Blackpool) and partnerd with Brendan Flavia out 14th Nov (partner to Vincent obviously and the week after Black pool so Craig got his wish plus didnt get evicted AT Blackpool) However that would mean the curse had been broken by Brian not being eliminated. |

That said I'm not sure it's a scenario that is particularly feasible. I just wondered what others thought it would take for the pro-partner curse to be continued

Not sure that she would. I think it would all come down to which one of them has Len on side the most as the other judges votes would most likely to be split and as Ali is doing a Paso a dance that Len finds notoriously hard to like who knows!

Personaly I would be suprised to see Ali in the dance off unless she is really really low on the leader board. I think she and Brian are a popular couple this year.

Though I think she'd have to be against either Ricky W or Zoe to go. Possibly Jade, depending on the dances on the night. |

Or she could finish third...like Zoe and Jade have done in recent weeks.

I think she has been third on the board hasnt she .....anyway I have no proof just a hunch that she is getting more votes than Jade and Zoe.

I feel sorry for Jade and Zoe. Hopefully Craig'll go this week and blow the Curse of the Pro Partner out of the water.

Well the curse has been broken but it was a very very very close call
![]() For the curse to carry on it should have been Brian who went home on Saturday and goodness me it nearly was .
