Reason for missed recordings?
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas...
Went away this weekend. Box was supposedly going to record complete series of Casualty, Strictly, and Emma. Previous episode of each recorded fine. Future episodes of each still in schedule. But no recordings were made this weekend. No power cut - at least, nothing that upset the cooker, microwave, phone, or bedside clock. What happened? Cheers, David. |

These are probably the fault of the broadcaster.
I had the same problem two weeks in succession with "Diary of a Nobody" (BBC HD) having previously recorded two episodes without problems. If there was an intermittent fault on the box then I would not expect it to pick on two episodes of the same programme a week apart and record everything else correctly. And if it was the box taking a dislike to something in the programme information for that particular series, why did it record the first two episodes without incident? |

But if Strictly, Casualty, and Emma failed for all Freesat users this weekend, wouldn't somebody else have posted here complaining?
Cheers, David. |

That was rather a lot at once so I suppose other would have mentioned it. Perhaps we should have a failed recording thread. |
