What is Claudia talking about on ITT? She has mentioned her and Craig having the same discussions over the last 12 years a couple of times now. Strictly appears to have started in 2004. What is she talking about?

I may be freezing cold, starving hungry and bored to death with this forum taking forever to refresh...but I can still recognise hyperbole when I hear it.

It's Claudia being Claudia. Slightly exaggerating.

I've thought that too.....maybe she was exaggerating it's just the fact that she's said it 3 times now I think and she seemed serious every time

If you include the Xmas specials it's 12 series - maybe that's what she means?

Claudia is great, so witty, she makes me laugh with her quips.

Has anyone noticed she mentions the word 'sandwich' in her quips alot too. She makes ITT, the program it is.

Just Claudia being Claudia. Usually it's

"What do I know, I've only been here 900 years!"

She says some very witty things, you have to be quick to catch them.

Does she still write in the Independent?

I guess I'm just used to Claudia and never even noticed that comment!

I understand wit and I'm sure the OP does too, but it's just odd because she's said the same thing 3 times and 12 years isn't really that much of an exaggeration anyway....if she'd said 200 years I'm sure we would have caught on more quickly !

maybe she meant twelve minutes.....
