To be useful this needs a log of the series crid and each individual episode crid and to follow the rescheduling of the.next episode after a recording is made. Both items of info are avalable on a hdr with a change of secret menu settings. Without this info it's not very helpful. If anyone wants to volunteer to record this info I have Excel software that can help.
Based on experience so far all the info so far points to cock up's by the broadcaster not the hdr. As far as the end of a series is concerned no freesat+ pvr can tell it's the last episode as there is no end of series flag in freesat+ (nor freeview +). The scheduled recording will remain in the list with tha last recorded episode for 13 weeks. |

That's the feeling I have (apart from the occasional brain dead 'recording failed for unknown reason' message).Quote:

Yes, that's what the 'End of series - nothing to update' above was meant to imply.

Also useful to know would be whether you have Recordings Settings to Auto (AR) or AutoPadding, so using the EITp/f running status change, or the EPG to start the recording.
Having embarked on investigations in the past in this forum, this information has been material in explaining what has been going on. Although it can perhaps be inferred from the "Schedule Updated" or not, it would be good to add "Series Link" or "Individual Programme Recording" to the Template. Rgds. Les. |
