TechniSat HDFS To Get PVR Software Update (records to USB media)
The TechniSat HDFS will get a software update this month allowing it to become a PVR. The update will allow it to recored to USB media. It will be possible to record both standard and high-definition programmes, though broadcaster restrictions mean that you’ll only be able to playback on that specific receiver.

This box does not seem to get much of a mention and is now under £100.00
Now it can record & pause, does that make it FreeSat+ (with external usb flash drive, hard drive). EDIT : No NAS support to store recordings. EPG looks interesting and shows 10 channels on a page. http://www.technisat.co.uk/index8661...&pID=15041 Automan. |

This is the box I have been using whilst hoping Humax or now Samsung provide what I want for use with a multi-lnb set-up.
