Austin was robbed - this has been established already
I'd have to make that sentence "Austin was robbed of a place in the final", but I'm not sure he would have won the glitterball.

For me the highlight of the series was T&C's show dance and despite what I think in general of series 6, it is my all time favourite SCD show dance.
I did enjoy that a lot - not as much, perhaps as Zoe and Ian's (Mainly because West Side Story>>>>>Sweet Charity), but enjoy it I did. I think Monkseal put it best when he said it was like being inside Camilla's crazy head for a minute and a half.

Indeed. I think the judges conspired to eject him as otherwise Arlene would have disgraced herself before to long and that would not have looked good on prime time TV...

Austin wasn't robbed of anything - he danced poorly the week he was eliminated, not seeming to be able to handle two dances the way the others were.

I think Austin is one of the most overrated contestants ever, applauded for his potential - who knows how he would have done if he had progressed further, he didn't seem to be improving at all as the series went on.

I don't get the OP's irony - what is it?

And my comment was a general one in response to other posts I have read on this forum, at the time it happened and since, about Austin being unfairly voted off - not a response to your post.
