Compare that to last year's Kristina who did a wonderful job with a poor dancer. Her intelligence was evident in her choreography, but perhaps it finishes there. After all, no intelligent woman would be attracted to JC
Perhaps the beeb should bring in one of these "no relationship with a co-worker" bans that other companies favour. Win-win, no more showmances and no threat of Mr Kay joining the set.”
It's called encouragement!!! She's not going to sit there and say he's useless all the time, is she?! And he does look marginally better in training clips. There was a brief clip of his training for cha cha and he actually looked OK. She dances with him for many hours a day - she would be able to tell a difference in his performance. She's not saying he's a great dancer in rehearsals - just better.
John and Joe are completely different and dare I say it, John had fewer problems with his dancing. He could always hear the beat of the music and he loved getting out there performing, so she could work with his comedy. She has less options with Joe this year as his ability (of lack of) means that she has very few choices with choreography.
She is a very talented choreographer, but you need SOMETHING to work with to be successful. I don't know how you can judge her intelligence on who she is attracted to, as firstly you don't know JC and secondly, becoming attracted to someone isn't based on intelligence.
Should she get involved whilst on the show? Possibly not, but easiler said than done. They spend about 10 hours a day together. We don't know what's going on either - she has said they are trying to concentrate on the dancing and everything else has been told to us via tabloids.
Many, many dance couples spill into romantic couples on the professional scene. It is difficult to avoid if the chemistry is there.
