Ali looks so shocked in the second photo that the paps are photographing her across the road.

She does, i'm really laughing at her "WTF? Seriously?!" expression!

And on a side note: I adore Brian's hat.

These two are both well known for being linked with people they work with. Looks like a match made in heaven.

This is starting to look like attention seeking now.

I certainly think they make a lovely couple but, if Ali has fallen in love (bless), it will worry her if next year Brian has another young lovely as a partner and same could happen again. Still they may just be enjoying the moment. Sweet.

Walking down the road ? How do you see that as attention seeking ?

Perhaps restraint is easier as you get older but I do wish these "professionals" could wait till the show is finished if they do find themselves attracted to one another.

From week one, it was apparent that Brian was besotted with Ali - or he certainly acted that way - and I would have found the attraction a lot more charming and sincere if it werent acted upon almost immediately.

As for Joe and Kristina, she has gone from a woman whose professionalism and intelligence I greatly admired in her first UK series, to a simpering, fake-breasted airhead in her second. Well done Kristina

And there is something off about Ola and Chris...I think Ola is trying too hard to convince us they have a great partnership. If she wants to convince me it is genuine she could try not scowling the minute she thinks the cameras are off.

All I can say is, thank gods Natalie and Ricky didnt follow through with the showmance they intimated at in the first week. The show would be more Strictly Coming than Strictly Come Dancing.

Oh come on, surely you're not that naive? They're totally aware of the cameras and fuelling the rumours that they're oh-so-embarrassed about.

Strictly_Irish, I see you are not a Brian or Ali fan. They were walking down a street holding hands, not really newsworthy. If they really wanted to grab attention they should have streaked.

Hmmm her boobs doen't look fake to me, just pushed up a bit in some of the latin costumes. She has never seemed like an airhead either, as she seems quite intelligent when she speaks.

I don't think she's changed, although she's a bit quieter. I just think people have bought into the tabloid rubbish and don't like her partner as much. I feel quite sorry for her, as I don't think she deserves some of the nasty comments such as this that appear to be increasing.

It also makes me laugh that a lot of people say that Ali and Brian look sweet when they're photographed, but they jumped on Joe and Kristina for being PR driven when they were pictured in similar poses.

I think both couples are quite genuine and every couple in the show is probably very tactile.

If you think I'm not an Ali and Brian fan, you could not be more wrong. I started Brian's biggest fanclub.

I just hate this kind of thing from any couple.

I agree with you 100% and I'm quite surprised Brian would demean himself by playing this sort of media game.

Ohmygawd Lol!!!

Two pretty young people spending a lot of time together and having to be quite physically intimate with each other - it's not that unexpected if other things,er, arise is it?

Good luck to 'em, don't see the problem myself

Surely there'd have to be full-on public tonsil tennis sessions for it be 'demeaning'?

I think they're damned if they do, damned if they don't at this point: Everyone and their dog is probably aware that they're together so there's little point in hiding it.

By saying things like "Joe is good in rehearsals?" And do you know, I think she probably believes that, her emotions have so got the better of her.

Compare that to last year's Kristina who did a wonderful job with a poor dancer. Her intelligence was evident in her choreography, but perhaps it finishes there. After all, no intelligent woman would be attracted to JC

Perhaps the beeb should bring in one of these "no relationship with a co-worker" bans that other companies favour. Win-win, no more showmances and no threat of Mr Kay joining the set.

It must be so tricky for Kristina: Brian's got the best of both worlds as he's apparently got himself a romance AND a very talented dancer, but poor Kristina...

It seems that she and Joe got together very early on (perhaps before she realised just quite how bad he was), and now she has to strike a balance between being ambitious and wanting to do well in the competition (and so needing to be quite hard on him) and making their personal relationship work.

Awkward...

It's called encouragement!!! She's not going to sit there and say he's useless all the time, is she?! And he does look marginally better in training clips. There was a brief clip of his training for cha cha and he actually looked OK. She dances with him for many hours a day - she would be able to tell a difference in his performance. She's not saying he's a great dancer in rehearsals - just better.

John and Joe are completely different and dare I say it, John had fewer problems with his dancing. He could always hear the beat of the music and he loved getting out there performing, so she could work with his comedy. She has less options with Joe this year as his ability (of lack of) means that she has very few choices with choreography.

She is a very talented choreographer, but you need SOMETHING to work with to be successful. I don't know how you can judge her intelligence on who she is attracted to, as firstly you don't know JC and secondly, becoming attracted to someone isn't based on intelligence.

Should she get involved whilst on the show? Possibly not, but easiler said than done. They spend about 10 hours a day together. We don't know what's going on either - she has said they are trying to concentrate on the dancing and everything else has been told to us via tabloids.

Many, many dance couples spill into romantic couples on the professional scene. It is difficult to avoid if the chemistry is there.

I think its lovely they are together. I dont think they know they are being photographed. Ali looked bemused by the photographer based on the sun photo. People are so cynical these days.

Intelligence may not be a factor for you when it comes to finding someone attractive Erinfan, but my libido is more likely to react to intelligence in a man than it would to, say, a 6-pack stomach Each to their own

No one can watch SCD and not be aware that professionals become partners off the dance floor as well as on it - people are still more likely to meet their "other halfs" in the workplace as anywhere else, so it's hardly surprising the dance world is no different.

But as I said in my first post, I wish a little restraint was applied and they got on with the dancing and put courtships on hold until the series finishes. If nothing else it would give them a wonderful christmas present to look forward to and I think it would make for less awkward (thanks Glorfindel) and more enjoyable viewing.

I didn't mean intelligence wasn't something to look for in a partner, I meant that you fall for who you have chemistry with and who your personality clicks with. Intelligence usually takes a back seat to the instinct that you feel when you spend time with someone.

We have no real idea what is going on or not going on between Joe and Kristina. We know what the tabloids have told us, they themselves seem to hint that they really like each other but they are trying to concentrate on the show. It perhaps seems that something is going on, but I'm sure they probably tried to resist it, as it is obviously a bit of a complicated situation.

I can see the argument about the situation, but I don't see the need for nasty digs towards Kristina in general.
