In one of those urban myth / probably aocryphal stories, Danny Baker accidentally injured Bob Marley's big toe in a charity football match, which turned gangrenous, then cancerous, eventually culminating in poor ol' Bob's demise......

In 1998 Morcheeba collaborated with Hubert Lewis on a George Gershwin tribute album, and Funny Face was one of his musicals.

Jim Rodford, founding member of Argent joined The Kinks as bassist, in 1978, and played with them until 1996.

The hit version of I Shot the Sheriff was by Eric Clapton. Clapton is in the Hackney area of London, and Leona is from Hackney.

(Certainly is Genie - must admit I didn't know of the Birkin / Barry entwinememt myself until I did a bit of digging! )

Joe's full name is Joseph Roger Brown, whilst Byrds mainman Roger McGuinn changed his middle name from Joseph to Roger.
